I was out of the game for a month, so maybe I missed the update, but when I've tried to create characters on my computer recently the widget tab takes up the entire bottom half of my screen, which makes it not only hard to place a widget, but also quite tough to plan placement and see what I am doing. Is this a new design I just need to get used to, or is it a bug that can be fixed?

What browser are you using? Have you tried clearing your cache yet?

As far as I know what you're experiencing is not intentional.

I am using Google Chrome. I just cleared my cache and checked the widgets again, and it did not change anything.

That's very strange! If you have any plugins try disabling all of them and see if that fixes it. If it does, enable them one by one and find which one is causing the issue. Also doublecheck Chrome is updated to its latest version (go to chrome://help/ ).

If that didn't fix anything either I'd send in a bug report to Kim through the form.

Ah, I figured out that it was the zoom level on my computer. The text was very small on my new computer so I increased the zoom. At 150% it jumped from a side panel to taking up the bottom half of my screen. I zoomed to 125% and it began working normally. Not sure if this is bug-report worthy.

For those playing at home: When the widget container doesn't have enough room to fit vertically, it instead swaps to be horizontal. Because Gamer's zoom level was high enough that the container could no longer fit vertically, it made the switch. It is acting as intended.
