how do i become a moderator

I see you copy/pasted the intro prompt. What an odd choice! Do you feel comfortable telling us anything else about yourself so we can get to know you?

We adopt new moderators every few years, so far only when an existing one retires, though the day will come when we need to grow the team due to site growth. Moderators must be 18 years old, have demonstrated a consistent positive involvement in the community, strong understanding of the rules, and ideally shown some conflict resolutions skills/grace under pressure.

New site moderators are chosen very infrequently, and they must be at least 18 years old, sorry! But you can moderate your own group. Learn more about that here
