He gave a large yawn as he rubbed his eyes. First time he been here. He was only the age of thirteen. He was short as well. Around 4'11 or so. However the young adept boy huffed a small sigh as he walked the streets of an alley
"I haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaave to to work today. It's sooo borin'. Why can't Geeves do it? Or Jota? Or even Viper? It's always me. The Great Merak!"
He threw out his arms in annoyance as he placed them in his pockets. His expression was rather sleepy and just neutral. Taking his right hand, he adjusted his headphones he normally wore and walked down the streets.
"Ah.. something like this isn't a thing for a genius such as myself!"
He threw out his arms, more so wishing to head back home to play some games or at least laze around all day.

"Work is good." She said. She sat on the floor leaning her back on one of the brick walls, cleaning one of her shotguns.
She wore her casual shorts, white buttin-down under a long black trenchcoat, wearing black leather boots that stopped at the ankle.
Her hair was dyed the natural pink and blue. Her gaze was down at the gun as she cleaned it thoroughly.
"Work gives you money. Money gives you food and a house. Being a genius is good too. But you have to do work sometimes. At least you have a home." She said.
"And albeit work may be boring, it still gives you a home, clothes on your back, a bed to sleep in at night, food, all of that."
"Besides, my work is fun." She said as she put the gun back together and cocked it. "I get to kill people. And sometimes its for a price."

The thirteen year old looked behind his shoulder and gave his normal, neutral and sleepy gaze. He was the laziest of the Sumeragi members and the youngest. He normally hated doing foot work. He normally would use his floating chair device to go to point A to point B. However, his leader and Jota insisted him in going by foot.
He glanced at the person, his expression still having that lazy look to it.
"Ah... That is true... and boss said he'd give me a vacation for three years if I finished some things..."
He faced the other, keeping his hands in his pants pockets. This other person was taller than him. After all. He was young, yet smart.
"Ah... I do ythings myself.. but it takes so much effort.. and gets borin' so fast... Aha... I, Merak need a break."

"Everybody needs a break sometimes." She said, cleaning another one of her guns from her duffel bag full of weapons and ammo that rested beside her.
"But when you've barely done anything and just sat on their worthless asses, they should at least take a hike."
She stared at the pistol she cleaned and loaded with ammo. She began checking her ammo after she cleaned all of her other guns loading them.
"I left my home." She said. She watched as a bird hit a window and felt its pain. She knew what was happening. The suffering curse. She clutched her gut in pain. This happened two times a day. This was the first. She still awaited the second one that came. But she knew it wouldn't come until later in the day.

He placed his hands over his head and yawned softly. This person was friendly. While he was just in his lazy moods. He kept his distance from the other as he yawned huge once again.
"So, who are ya? Since I already said my name to ya. It's Merak."
He gave a long sigh. He was bored and he didn't feel like doing anything but to loaf around or play video games.
"Ya gonna do somethin'? I'm bored anyway..."

The pain subsided after a minute and she cleared her throat.
"Turncoat, Melissa." She said properly. "And I don't have any work. Not at the moment, at least."
Her mind traveled through various questions, answers and other sentences.
"Have you ever lost a family member?" She inquired the minor before her as she packed her weapon bag, standing tall, slinging the duffel bag full of gun's, crossbows, knives, daggers and ammo. She had two pistols on her, in their holsters as they were strapped to her under her trench coat. She also had a couple daggers hidden in her boot.

{It still is!}
Al those weapons made him a bit nervous. He was a bit young, but all he remembered when he was bullied for being a genius in school. He rubbed the back of his head and gave a sigh. He did have a family. He kept in contact with them. He was one of the few Sumeragi Members that had family that was still alive.
"Well.. I have a mom and dad... but ..." He looked the other way. Just the thought of the weapons made him nervous.

She gave him a quizzical look because of his sudden change of mood. She drew a pistol and spun it, her finger only inches away from the trigger.
Melissa raised an eyebrow, spinning the gun back and forth on her finger.
"From the looks of it, your mood changed from extremely bored and irritated from having to walk, to nervous due to my weapons, am I wrong?"
She could read expressions really well because she observed a lot, because she was one of those people that just sat in the corner of a party and observed.

The last time he had a gun pointed at him was before he joined Sumeragi. That was through being bullied and jeered at by other children his age. Huffing a bit, he didn't to say anything else. Waging his arm in a rather lazy manner, he created one of his worm holes and pulled something out from it.
"Eh.. ya saw nuffin'..." He said in a lazy tone. "I could show y'somethin' cool.. if ya wanna see..."

She was quite intrigued by how he conjured up the worm hole. She raised an eyebrow, her dark blue eyes full of curiosity.
She had one hand on one of her pistols that rested within the holster, eyes alert, cautious, untrusting the boy of what he might have in his hand.
"Sure..." She said, wonder in her voice.
Besides, if the boy took out something that was a threat, she could easily disarm him because he looked as if he could barely fight a small snapping turtle or kitten.
