Anyone of you know the feeling of when you're making a new character or similar new things and your mind is subconsciously speaking to you about things?
Like... What I'm getting at here, is that I'm making a new thing X and I've been working on it for a few days with great excitement, and thus it has pushed other things to the side a bit. But now I'm asking myself 'will this new thing somehow surpass the 'old' thing that I'm so very fond of and not planning on setting to the side for a long time'

Might just be me being a bit paranoid with things, or then it's my creator half that is trying to remind me of all the unfinished things, be them resent or years ago *Is sinning and not able to get to finish things*
But this is the feeling I'm currently having. I work excitedly on a new thing and then I start to doubt things greatly all of a sudden for no real reason. No-one told me it was a bad idea, and no-one told me to stop, yet my head is doing it

Anyone else get these feelings with their projects or such?
Basically (maybe), do you get nervous?

If you never finish something it can't be judged, so it's safe to leave it unfinished. No one will criticize it, but no one will get to appreciate it either. Embrace the fear of failure and see things through until the end, even if it's not good enough. Iterate until it's good.
