It's 9:45 Dragon, a year after the Exalted Council. The Grey Wardens are allowed to take back Vigil's Keep in order to reestablish themselves as a reliable order once more. Despite the Grey Wardens having proved themselves in the fight against Corypheus, suspicion is still rampant.

The lack of a commanding officer has left the Order in shambles and Roderick Vimes has been appointed as the current Warden-Commander of the Ferelden wardens. As such, he seeks to rebuild the order amidst the chaos that is now Thedas. With the mage factions divided, the templars scrambling to rebuild themselves, the Inquisition disbanded, and the threat of Fen'harel hanging over their head, how will the Grey Wardens handle themselves?

Knowledge of the Dragon Age setting is a plus, and there's plenty of information found on the Dragon Age Wikia. Focus would be on day to day interactions of new recruits at the keep and missions, restoring order and so on.
Original characters only, although they may have some slight relation to certain canon characters in their history.
Preferred paragraphical role players although one or two paragraphs per post are fine.

• Inquisition has been disbanded by the Inquisitor.
• Current Divine is Divine Victoria.
• The Wardens were not exiled after Adamant and are given this chance to prove themselves.
• The Templar Order is still tied to the Chantry although members are few.
• College of Enchanters, led by Grand Enchanter Fiona, exists together with the Circles led by Grand Enchanter Vivienne.
• The Hero of Ferelden has left their post in search of ending the Calling.
• Current monarchs are Alistair and Anora.
• Orlais is ruled by Empress Celene.
• Dragons are making a comeback.
• Dark spawn are present but not sentient or working together. However they're present in many areas.

Quick question: Can I have a list of all acceptable roles?

Unfortunately for me I know jack diddly about the Dragon Age games (and lore.), as I have not played one since 2012. Though, I would like to join this if you'll have me, and I can do the necessary research for terms and whatnot I encounter in the RPs.

Certainly! I'm no expert myself on the lore. The dragon Age wikia is my life line

Grey Warden recruit, all kinds and races welcomed
Orlesian Grey Warden (no higher than senior cause lore wise there's none) who's transferring over to help them rebuild.
Templar who's just chilling around the keep.
Keep staff who wants something to do around the keep. They will not participate in Grey Warden missions due to the nature of their work but may have other things. If you prefer the sort of day to say running rp.

I've also included a section in the ooc board on questions on the lore. Some things arent concrete to my knowledge (i.e. Rite of Tranquility and it's reversal effects) but we'll work on something fair and solid together.

Dang, I played both DA: Origins and Inquisition but I don't know much about the lore of the DA universe, I'd love to join but I'm not sure I can.

Knowing the lore is a plus but not a requirement, and we're winging some of the fuzzier details. You've pretty much had the same level of exposure as I have on DA lore lol

There's also a section on the forums for clarification on the lore if you have stuff you're not sure about.

Oooh, I'd be interested in this! I haven't finished Inquisition yet, but have been heavily spoiled anyway so I'd just lean on the wiki.

Since I offed my Hero of Fereldan, I played through Awakening with an Orlesian Warden... I'd obviously modify her heavily for the game (just a junior Warden sent over to help supplement the current forces, different last name, none of the Awakening events, etc.), but would I be able to join with her? I loved roleplaying her in the game and want to do more with her personality.

(I also have a notion of a dwarven merchant or cook that I could join instead, or later on.)
