"Well, she has no desire to become a real part of my life. If she did, she would have at least looked at my ship," Althalos muttered and kissed the top of Felix's head, "Just don't let her poison my eggs or coffee," he chuckled.
"I understand. I wish she would stay my friend at least though, but she wants nothing to do with me..." Felix stared out the tiny carage window, watching the busy morning people. "So I only have you until I get settled in better."
"What do you mean by that?" Althalos looked a bit confused, "Do you need help with anything at you house.
"I'v only lived here for about... a week or so? And well... its not the best looking apartment." Felix said, turning to Al. "All the walls are pealing and need a new, fresh paint job. Its taking a lot of time to get all the paint bought with my small pay I get at the cafe."
"But you said you only have me until you get settled in better. What does that mean? I'll be more than happy to pay for some of the paint and help you paint though," he said as the carriage rounded a corner.
"I guess I meant I need a friend all that time while Im settling in... But I rather have you as a friend for a while

"As would I," Althalos tilted her head up and kissed her lips.
Felix face and body became warm, his kiss filling her with life almost. She made her lips kiss back, her eyes fluttering close.
The horse let out a mechanical whinny as they proceeded down the street at the docks.
"So what is it that you cooked up, huh?" Felix nugged his side.
"What do you mean by that? This was your surprise," he laughed a bit nervously.
"Oh.. I thought this ride would have more kisses..."
"Oh, well I can handle that," he kissed her passionately again.
Her fingers tangled into his hair.
Althalos ran his hands along her back and up her neck.
Small shiver ran down her body, her eyes fluttering shut
He gulped a bit, "I love you Felix," he managed to say and pressed his forehead against hers.
"Y-You love me?" Felix said softly, a bit surprised by him saying it first.
He nodded after about 30 seconds of contemplation, "I-I do.
Felix let herself grin, laying her head on Al's chest. "Ive never once had a man tell me he loved me first... Its... Its a nice feeling really."
