She put her clothes away and kept her eyes on the ground. "I ran away ya know?" She smiled, a distant look in her eyes. "Just like I planned."

"Oh really" Toby said, "And how did the go?" He smiled a little after he asked her the question.

"Great. I mean, I found you, got away from them, and found people who care." She turned to him. "Did I ever tell you why I planned on running away?"

Toby thought for a second before shaking his head. "No...I don't believe you did" he admitted.

"Great. Story time then." She sat down on her bed. "It's basically my life story. Wanna know?"

Kitkat took her plate of bacon and sat on the living room couch, munching her breakfast.

Toby chuckled a little when she said it was time for a story. "Yea, I'd like to hear it" he admitted.



Toxic walked out of their room and downstairs, knowing it would take Thalia a while to fully wake up.

The hybrid looked around for the tv remote. Might as well watch something while she ate. Hopefully, no one would mind.

"Alright. Well I was taught magi all my life. I got a little brother when I was four-ish. At the age of ten my mother was burned at the stake whilst I was forced to sit and watch. I went home and put Cane to bed then went to check on father. I walked in and he smiled at me with glassy eyes before kicking the chair out from under him and hanging himself. I took Cane and we ran to the forest, but I got caught and put in foste home and that's how he got ahold of me. He used me as his toy." She was looking down at this point.

Toby frowned a little and looked at her with a sad expression. "I'm sorry Amber. I wish I had known" he said.

Toxic ran down the steps and into the living room. She smiled at KK and ploped on the other side of the couch.

"It's okay." She smiled up at him, no sign of tears or anything.

Toby gave a weak smile to her. "i'm glad you're not super upset about it" he said.

"Didn't cry the day they died, won't cry today." She shrugged and rubbed her hands together.

Toby nodded and smiled a bit. "So, when do you want to have the tour" he asked.

"Whenever your ready." She smiled.

Toby nodded and thought for a second to see if he was ready.

She smiled as he thought.

Toby smiled and got up. "I'm ready" he said.

"Alrighty." She smiled and side stepped so he could lead the way.

Toby got up and opened the door before stepping into the hallway. "Where do you want to go first" he asked.
