"...Can you show me?" Kitkat didn't want to bother him if he was buissy.
"'Course. Follow me" Jeff said as he walked to the backdoor and opened it.
The hybrid followed him, gaze wondering around the trees. She absolutely loved nature. The view here would never get old.
Jeff shut the door behind them and began to walk through the woods until they hit the target range.
"Thanks." Kitkat examined where the targets had been set up. There were at least six, some dummies and others sandbags. It didn't look too difficult. She took out her knife that had been resting in her hoodie pockets.
Jeff nodded a welcome and smiled at her. "No problem" he said.
KK fiddled with the blade, not used to practicing with anyone watching her. Still, she held the tip between her thumb and forefinger and threw it at a target. The metal sank into where the left arm should be, a horrible shot by Kitkat's standards. The brunette huffed at her first throw.
She smiled and snapped her fingers, bathing suits appearing on their bodies instead of their clothes. Her bikini was black and purple while his swim trunks were orange and brown.
Jeff noticed that she seemed a bit nervous and he looked at her. "I can go back to the mansion if you'd like" he offered after seeing her throw. She was probably not used to having someone watch her which might of been part of her problem which is why he sugested it.
Toby looked at the swimsuit he was wearing before seeing his paler skin. He usually just wore his jacket all of the time so this felt a bit weird to him. Plus, now the bandages that covered his hand that had the skin he tore off more visible. At least he still had his mouthguard and goggles though.

She jumped in the water, not paying attention to the bandages and such. Her skin was as pale as ever, all her scars were visible, self-inflicted and the scars from others. She was worried he would ask about them so she got in the water as fast as she could.
Toby watched as she quickly jumped in and he wondered why she was doing it so quickly. However he didn't ask. He looked at the water with a bit of hesitation as he slowly walked in. Normally he'd ask about her scars but he never saw them so he didn't.
She smiled as the water calmed her nerves. She laid backwards, half her body above water and half below. She looked up at the sky and saw the sun.
Toby got into the water and swam around, trying not to ruin his bandages.
The scars could be seen if you looked at her arms. She didn't care anymore, she was at peace.
Toby saw her relaxing a bit and he smiled. "Are you enjoying this" he asked her.
She smiled and looked up at him. "You know it." She looked back up at the sky. "I haven't been swimming since I was seven."
"Was it because of your dad" Toby asked her, feeling bad that she had to suffer through him.
"Step dad." She sat up and looked at him, her scars now easily visible. "You don't know my backstory, do you?" She tilted her head as she tried to remember if she told him or not.
"I think you might have told me. That's the reason you ran away, right" Toby asked, wanting to confirm. He had noticed her scars but he wasn't going to start questioning her yet.
She nodded an rubbed her right arm with her left hand. "Sadly. I still hate his guts," She looked down, "Even though I killed him." She mumbled.
