She sat at the bottom of the lake.

Toby looked around before realizing he couldn't see her. "Amber" he called out.

She giggled and came to the surface. "Yes?" She was close behind him, but didn't realize how close they were.

Toby turned around and smiled. "Oh, there you are. I was worried that you had disappeared" he said before realizing how close they were.

She smiled and realized how close they were then blushed.

Toby blushed and rubbed the back of his neck. "S-sorry" he stuttered.

"I-it's fine." She smiled at him, not moving.

Toby felt the rest of his face heat up and he looked at her.

She snapped out of her trance and fell underwater on accident.

Toby watched and gasped a little, reaching for her hand as she fell.

Her hands were outstretched to him and her hair surrounded her face.

Toby grabbed her hand and pulled her up. "Are you okay" he asked.

She nodded. "I-I'm fine." She forced a smile.

"Are you sure" Toby asked her, holding onto her hands.

"Yeah." She kept forcing a smile. She blushed and looked down.

"I don't think you are" Toby stated, looking at her with a soft expression.

"I'm not." She looked down.

"What's wrong" Toby asked her in a concerned voice.

"I... I like this boy, but he won't notice me." She glanced up at him.

Toby frowned a bit and looked at her. "I'm sorry, he doesn't know what he's missing out on. You're a great person to be with" he stated.
