Toby smiled and closed his eyes as he made his wish before he looked over at her. A grin grew across his face as he watched her make a wish.

She smiled and opened her eyes. "What did you wish for?"

Toby looked at her and chuckled. "It's a secret" he said.

She pouted. "That's no fun."

Toby smiled and held her. "It was a ridiculous wish anyways" he said.

"Okay, so? Tell me." She pleaded playfully.

"But you'll laugh at me" Toby said sheepishly.

"I'll tell you mine, if you tell me yours." She smiled reassuringly.

Toby rubbed the back of his neck and looked at her. "Y-you promise" he asked.

"Promise." She propped herself up on one of her elbows, facing him.

"I-um, I wished that I was able to hang out with you more often" he admitted, blushing a bit in the process.

She smiled. "You're so sweet." She looked back up at the stars. "I wish my wish was sweet like that."

Toby blushed and smiled as he pulled her closer to him. "So, what was your wish" he asked her.

She sighed. "That I had my parents, my real parents, back for at least one night." She laid on her back.

Toby smiled and nodded as he looked at her. "That's sweet" he said.

"It's impossible." She hugged herself.

Toby frowned a bit and looked away. "It might happen" his voice trailed off.

"It won't." She sat up. "They're dead and gone, they left me, and it's all my fault." She mumbled the last part.

Toby frowned and pulled her close to him once again. "It's not your fault" he said softly as he looked at her through his orange tinted goggles.

"Yes it is. If I wasn't here then they would be alive and happy." She curled up.
