"Oh, but that's what makes me awesome," he grinned.

Sylar's car-.. No. Gabriel's... car... Parked in front of the beach, in the parking lot. It was a simple red convertible. He stepped out, sitting on the hood and watching the waves. Tick.. Tock... Tick.. Tock.. That accursed sound still rung in his ears. "I'm a good person... I want to be good..." He mumbled slowly to himself. Conflicting thoughts were troublesome for the former murderer. He wondered.. Would he be recognized? And if so.. Would he have to... Kill again? He shuddered. "I won't be recognized.. I can't be..." He sighed some before walking out onto the beach, yearning to be closer to the briny scent and relaxing sounds to drown out that damn ticking... He glanced at the two in the water as well, but soon lost interest. Even if they did have powers, he was a good person now.. Right?

Althalos swung Anna onto his back and swam back to shore where he collapsed into the warm sand, smiling and laughing.

Mustang laughed and kissed his cheek before noticing a man nearby. He sorta looked familar but she couldnt place him. The beach had emptied out alot as it got closer to night. Yet they had to wait for Max who had found himself a lovely lady to chat with.

Althalos put his arms around her chest, still not noticing the man and he kissed the back of her neck.

[Just sayin, it's a lot easier with the chat function. I'm doing Revelations and this one at the same time with it.] Gabriel did have to wonder though.. Did they have powers? If so, what? He watched them as they talked and interacted, trying to pinpoint any sort of abnormalities.

Mustang blushed a bit and gave her attention back to Althalos. She smiled and picked up a towel, putting it on his head with a soft laugh.
"Dry off silly," she said with a smile.
Again she noticed the man watching them and she kinda got a little uneasy. "Althalos that man keeps watching us," she murmured to him.

He complied, drying off his hair as he sat up and then looked at the man, "Just ignore him. Maybe he'll go away."

Mustang nodded then grabbed her towel and dried her hair as well as body off. Then she pushed Althalos over gently onto the sand and kissed him softly with a smile.

At that moment, he decided to slip off of the hood of his car, slowly walking toward the two without any signs of aggression other than that seemingly natural scowl that he usually carried. He stopped a few feet away from them and placed his hands behind his back. "Good evening, you two." He'd say. "I'm Gabriel... I just want to ask you some things out of curiosity. You were the only two on the beach that I could see, so.. " He was treading a thin line here.. If recognized, would they call the police? And an even worse question.. If they did call the police, would Gabriel have to....?

Mustang quickly sat up as the man walked over and warily watched his movements. "Sure..go ahead.." she replied to him.

Althalos also watched warily, "What is it you want to ask?"

"This is.. Sort of an odd question, but.. Do either of you have unusual... Abilities?" His voice was nervous, but serious at the same time. "Don't automatically assume that i'm a nutcase, either. I can prove to you that I have my own... Powers." He stared at them both, waiting for an answer. "You have every right to be nervous and wary. After all, i'm a stranger. Someone you only know the face and first name of."

"Um... I can hold my breath for about two minutes... Does that count as a power or just big lungs?"

Mustang didnt reply as she tried to remember where she saw him before. "Havent i seen you before?" she asked and stood up. Her cellphone was back at the car but this guy was really creeping her out.

Althalos pulled her back down and onto his lap, quietly whispering to her, trying to assure her everything would be fine.

Gabriel froze. No. This was bad. It was time to tell the truth.. "Possibly." His voice rang. "I'm.. A former mass murderer, of people with powers. I don't do that anymore, however. I've made up my mind to be a better person. Please.. Don't call the police. I don't want to kill anymore. All I want to know is out of curiosity.. Do you have any special powers that set you apart?" Then he nodded to Althalos. "And no.. That just counts as a common skill.. A power.. Is something like this." He rose a hand, electricity jumping from his fingers and forming a small ball in his hand. "What you've seen in comic books is real. It's evolution of mankind."

Althalos' jaw dropped at both, "G-get away from us! Anna, get to teh car!" he pulled her to her feet and started sprinting away, Anna in tow.

Mustang followed behind but slowly doing so. Now she remembered. He had killed her mom a long time ago or it seemed a long time ago, but Mustang couldnt remember her mom ever having speacial powers. Though her dad was always complaining about her being a witch of a woman.
"Wait!" Mustang stopped and looked around the beach quickly. "Max! We cant leave without him!" she said to Althalos and looked back at the man. They had put quite a distance between themselves and him.

On impulse, Gabriel's fingers jolted toward the car they were running toward. The doors inside all locked. "I told you. Don't try and call the police. I don't want to hurt people anymore... I'm not this kind of person.. I'm not Sylar..." He trailed off, beginning to walk toward them again. "Your mother... What was her name? Perhaps I can enlighten you as to why I may have killed her and what her power was." He said, standing a fair distance away. "The electricity, by the way, as you can see, is not the only power I wield. I have several others that i've.. Stolen.. From people like me. I feel horrible about it, I do."
