Eventually the movie ended and he turned it off with the remote.

Mustang sat up a little and looked out the window to see it still raining. The wind blowing pretty hard making a low howl sound around the dorm. Sending Mustang burrowing into the blanket and Althalos.

"There hasn't been any news recently about a hurricane, right?" Althalos asked worriedly.

"not hurricane season!" came Mustang's muffled reply from under the blanket. she wrapped her arms around his low waist and buried her head into his chest as another clap of thunder shook the dorm.

"You're a lot like a dog aren't you?" he chuckled and pulled his head under the blanket, "Don't worry girl, everything will be all right. It's just thunder," he scratched her behind the ears.

Mustang scowled and looked up at him. "Dont make me bite like one," she threatened but really she never would. Mustang crawled up a little bit and kissed Althalos long and gentle.

He returned the kiss, gently cradling her head as he did so.

Mustang smiled and broke away after a minute for air, but she kept their lips brushing lightly.

"I love you," it just came out and he could stop himself from it and he blushed the deepest crimson he had over the course of their whole relationship.

Mustang was stunned into silence as he said it and her eyes widened. "You what?" she asked quietly to make sure she had heard it right

He was so flustered and he opened his mouth to speak but nothing came out.

Mustang blinked and slowly the stunned look went away. She suddenly smiled and hugged him as tightly as she possibly could. Then kissed him deep and long, blushing a deep crimson as she did so

"Uh..." was the only thing that would come out of his mouth as he hugged her back.

"That was one of my wishes you know. But only if you really mean it," Mustang said quietly and pulled away just a bit

"For someone to love you or for me to love you?" he asked and pulled her close again, "But I do mean it."

Mustang smiled and put her head on his chest again. "For you to love me," she murmured.

"That was only our second day we even knew each other... I guess it doesn't matter though," he stroked her hair, "But I do love you."

Mustang poked his tummy and laughed softly. "It was for in the future for you to love me silly," she replied quietly. The she smiled and sat up a little bit, propping herself up.
"I love you too Althalos," she murmured then kissed him.

"But that had to mean you loved me on that same-" he was cut off by what she said and the kiss. He gently rolled her onto her back and leaned into the kiss.

Mustang smiled and put her arms around his neck. Kissing him for a long while before pulling away for air. "That was my second wish...for me to love you just the same," she whispered with a smile. She brushed her thumb along his cheek then pulled him down again to kiss him.
