"You've got balls of steel," he smirked sadly and called down to room service to order two orders of the pancakes and sat next to her, "I didn't know witness protection was even an option."

"Yea well i kinda made it an option," Mustang said with a small laugh. Then leaned back into the couch and into Althalos's side. Laying her head on his shoulder then suddenly reaching underneath Althalos. He was sitting on the tv remote so she pulled it out from under him and turned on the tv, glancing up to see his reaction to what she just did. Spongebob was on so she settled back and grinned.

He let out a startled "What the-?!" before lifting himself up a bit and then settled down, holding her close.

Mustang couldnt help a small giggle that escaped at his reaction then she quieted and turned up the tv volume a bit. After twenty minutes there is a knock at the door and she started to get up.

"No," Althalos gently pushed her back onto the couch and then grabbed the lamp just in case and opened the door, the lamp behind his back.

Mustang looked at him confused then rolled her eyes. "We ordered room service," she said as he made his way over to the door.
A young man around there age was standing at the door with a rolling cart and the smell of food wafting from it. Mustang smelled choclate and sweet strawberrry's. In a second, she was hobbling over to the door grinning.
"Oh my god! Get in here!" she said happily and nudged Al outta the way.
The boy grinned and wheeled the cart in, checking Mustang out while he was at it. But she hardly noticed and was too busy looking at the food when the thing came to a stop.

"Eyes off, she's mine," Althalos growled, clearly seeing what the boy was doing and gently pushed him out the door before grabbing his plate of food.

Mustang smiled as he got all protective then grabbed her plate and sat down. She practically stuffed her mouth full of her choco chip pancakes with strawberry syrup. It was too amazingly good to resist scarfing down.

Althalos moderated his eating a bit more but didn't chew very much and nearly choked at one point.

Mustang paused as he almost choked and smiled a little bit in amusement. Then she finished her pancakes off quickly and set the plate back on the cart. Then laid her head down in Al's lap with a heavy and much contented sigh. Pulling her casted leg onto the couch with her other and looked up at Al with a smile.

Althalos smiled and gently caressed her head in his hands, gently stroking her forehead after he finished his breakfast.

Mustang relaxed and closed her eyes lightly. The next two days passed by rather slowly and now it was time for the funeral. She only had black shorts and a dark blue tank top so thats what she wore since she had nothing else. They were just arriving and Mustang gently kissed Al's cheek sadly but didnt say anything.

He was wearing a tuxedo he had rented and just nodded as they approached the grave yard. He walked towards his family when he realized nobody knew Anna.

Mustang blushed a light shade of pink when she noticed alot of people staring. Staying close to Althalos, she stopped several feet away from all the other people. She really didnt have a right to be here since she hadnt known him so she felt uncomfortable going over there with everyone else.

Althalos took her hand, intertwining his fingers with hers and pulled her towards the group as the service started.

Mustang squeezed his hand reassuringly as he pulled her over there. Staying very close to him, she repositioned her crutch since she was only using one today. Keeping her eyes to the ground, she leane on Al slightly.

The service was about an hour long and everyone besides Anna said something. The casket was lowered into the ground and everyone threw some dirt on before the back hoe filled it in.

Mustang held Althalos's hand tightly as he came back from saying something about his brother. Trying to reassure him and comfort him, she leaned slightly on him to show him she was there for him.

He held her tightly and round walked into the church for the after-service.

Mustang had made it a bit slow for them since she was using a crutch but they eventually made it. Looking around, she blushed madly when her stomach growled. She had skipped breakfast and lunch by accident while sleeping in, showering, and looking for something to wear. Gaining a few stares, she embarrassedly walked with Al.
