The man did not look please with that answer. "Huh." was all he said to that. Kuro had gathered the strenght to stand up. "Archur, let me kill him. It's only fair to me since I'm the one he hurt the most." She still had her dagger in hand, but she let it go and dug out the pocket knife her brother gave her. She walked over to the man and placed the pocket knife to his neck but she looked up at Archur for the singal to kill him. Finally the man looked fearful of Kuro, to think she would have the streght to kill him.
Lucy got off of the mans chest as Kuro approached and Archur stood over Kuro, "Do it, he's all yours."
Kuro nodded. With one quick movement, she slit his throat. His face lost it's color of life, his chest didn't rise and fall from his breathing. He was dead. Kuro's bangs covered her eyes as she looked down. Tears rolled down her cheeks, but the smile on her face said they weren't of sadness. "I never though I would be happy to kill someone."
He kneeled next to Kuro, "I think he deserved it," he hugged her to his chest, "You have no reason to run anymore."
Kuro nodded, hugging him back. "I n-never though I would be free." her voice was slightly choked up with emotion.
"Well, now you are," smiled brightly, "You gonna stick around or are you gonna keep moving forwards?"
Kuro though for a moment, wipping away some of the tears. She looked up at Archur and smiled. "I think I'll stick around here for a while."
"Good, because if you left, there's no way I'm staying here anymore," he kissed her forehead, "I'll get rid of the body for you."
"Let me help, I did help kill him I should help with the clean up." She stood up, grabbing the man's hands that were freezing cold.
Archur grabbed the mans ankles and they carried him out where he directed Kuro about 200 yards into the woods where they set him down, "I think this is far away enough that the wolves won't bother us if they do come and get him.
Kuro nodded. "Alright, now to clean up the blood and remoce the smell so none of the wolves well come to the house because of it." She droped the man's body and started the head for the house.
Archur followed, "Lucy will probably get the blood. I'll definitely have to mop it later though."
Kuro nodded. "Alright and I'll clean off my pocket knife. I hope none of the blood didn't get into the ingravings." She mumbled the last sentence worndering if she was going to have to get blood out of the ingravings on her pocket knife.
"Just soak it in some lemon juice or something like that, it'll clean it out... Or if you use a magnet since blood has a lot of iron in it."
"Alright, I'll keep that in mind. 'Cause if the police do go looking for him, I doubt it but it is best to leave nothing behind that shows he was ever there."
"The wolves or bears will probably get to him," Althalos said with a shrug and when they got back to his home, he rummaged around in a few drawers before pulling out a magnet, "I have no idea if it'll work, but you can try."
Kuro shook her head. "No, I'll just soak the knife in some water and then try the magnet if that doesn't work." She grabbed the magnet then went to where she dropped her pocket knife and picked it up. She examed it and sighed when she saw some of the blood got into the ingravings.
Archur filled a bowl with water and set it on the table, "Lemon juice will stop it from rusting if it can rust," he suggested,
Kuro nodded. "I don't think it can rust since I've had it for a long time and even used it in the rain but who knows." She placed the pocket knife in the water and watched as the water slowly went a bloody color.
Lucy had since finished licking the floor clean of blood and Archur grabbed a mop and wiped up her slobber.
