Vee shrugged her shoulders, "Well, honestly, I wouldn't call it bad. I'm just a bit frightened. A number of my cases are kids left behind after they've died of a sickness and don't understand where mommy and daddy are. This, this is dark." She rubbed her temples, "I want to say there are two things here. A normal, if violent, spirit and a poltergeist."

"The issue here being that the poltergeist activity is generally caused by a person in turmoil. It is possible that Amy is causing it herself, but there is nothing to suggest that while she is in a traumatic place that she would have the power. She is older than most girls who manifest and has never shown it before."

John nodded vaguely and placed his hand gently on a nearby monitor, not for any particular reason outside of it was convenient for him to rest his hand on. This was a lot to take in, and his skepticism about the supernatural wasn't making it any easier to digest. Still, Vee had been nothing but helpful up to this point, so he decided to help in whatever way he could.

"Alright, well, if Amy's the cause of all this, what are we going to do about it? Would one of those... Ouija boards, I think they're called, help out? I mean, they're here for a purpose, so if we find out what the purpose is and fix it, then they'll go away. Right?"

He hated being this clueless about the situation, but the faint, lingering pain in his hand made it clear that his experience would be effectively useless in dealing with whatever was in the house.
