Kin sat down near the lake,which was shining beautifully in the moonlight.She had on a black cloak but the hood was down,showing Kin's long grayish blue,blue eyes and long elf ears.A black bow rested beside her along with a quiver full of black arrows and two knives in gray sheaths.Kin stared out at the lake,listening to the sound of owls hooting in the darkness of the surrounding forest.She liked places that were peaceful,especially during the night of a full moon.

kita walked through the dark forest with only her fairy mina to light the way even with mina there wasnt much light so she had to keep looking in all directions kitas number one fairy zatanna was sitting on kita's shoulder " i can feel you shivering" kita looked to her shoulder " yea so ... its scary out here"

Kin looked behind her,hearing voices.She stood up,put her quiver and her bow on her back,and strapped her daggers back onto her belt.She made no sound as she entered the forest and spotted a young girl with fairies accompanying her.Kin came closer and stopped a few feet away from the girl."Is there a reason your traveling the forest at night?"Kin's voice was smooth and light.

kita heard a voice and quickly bagan to look around that when she spotted the girl "um ... no " zatanna the fairy on kita's shoulder got up and pinched kita's face " gather your nerves" kita looked at zatanna the back at the girl she cleared her throught then looked back at zatanna " i caaant .. i have no nerves" she sat on the ground and hugged her knees ,zatanna sighed and flew to the girl " excuse her she is .... young and easily scared" zatanna raised her voice " and she need to learn to stand up for herself" kita didnt look up from her legs " shut up" her mumbled voice came

Kin smiled."It's alright but you have to have some nerves to be traveling at night in this forest."She walked over to the girl and held out her hand to help her up."My name is Kin."

kita looked up and took the girls hand "my name is kita and this is zatanna" she jestured to the fairy who was now back and sitting on kita's shoulder " and this is mina" the fairy that was a balll of light lowered to head level and waved her hand

"Pleased to meet you."Kin smiled while her ears twitched.An owl hooted from nearby."Are you heading anywhere particular because I think I can help."

kita stood up "not anywere in particular"

"Then let us at least find somewhere where we won't be bothered by the creatures that walk the night."Kin's elven ears twitched again.

kita "um okay" zatanna whom was now sitting on kit's shoulder jolted up " whats wrong zatanna"

Kin watched the fairy before she heard someone step on a branch.The sound came from far away but since Kin was an elf,she could hear it."There is someone approaching.We must leave quickly."Kin turned the opposite direction of the footsteps and began walking silently through the forest.
