Hi! This game is very simple: You will write a story about the picture above, then you will post your own picture. It doesn 't matter if it will be sci - fi or fantasy or something else, and the story length doesn 't matter as well. So, enjox the game, and here is the first picture:
For this, how will you prevent two people from typing a story about the same picture?
(btw, this looks like it'll be fun.)
On the edge of the world, the man stood. Alone, save for the rustle of the lavender blossoms as a gentle morning breeze caressed the earth. He watched the heavens above as they put on a beautiful display for his eyes. The morning air clung with the scent of fresh dew, and the water still held on to the vision of night. Why he was awake at such an hour was unknown even to him. He would have to stay up for many hours now without the chance of sleeping until the white orb reappeared from the horizon- if it reappeared. Perhaps what had woken him was the whisper of solitude that only an hour like this could offer him.
He took a deep breath, taking in the scents around him. Oh how the earth smell so new and refreshed when the day was just beginning. In a few hours, he would have to tend to his chores of hunting and gathering supplies for the village that he grew up in and knew all of his life. The sun would beam down upon his head and cause beads of sweat to swell upon his forehead until they trickled down, flowing with gravity. The thought of the labor made him shiver, or perhaps it was the breeze. He took a seat cross legged on the dirt ground and simply gazed up at the sky. What a lovely sky it was indeed. It was the perfect mixture of night and day to show him that his village's luck was changing. They had recently experienced a lot of devastation, but now, things were looking up. The sun was going to reclaim their skies!
Now, a light sound drifted on the wind to him, calling him. It was a voice that he knew very well. A figure came into view moments later. She wore a simply dress, and her hair was braided and rested on the middle of her back. She put held a toddler on her hip and wore a smile in her eyes. "Oh, Kota. It's time to go. We are moving again today."
The man nodded to her and watched her go. With a final sigh, he turned and looked back to the water. The night was now replaced with day, and there was no more room for his dreams. A bit deflated, he followed the woman back to their village and resumed his usual existence.

I wanna play too! I used to write stories so this'll be fun!
Ok, here I go.
Clint lit his cigar, one of the many faint lights that populate the night street. Looking at his watch, just barely past six and the second hand on his watch kept its pace.
"Hmm... it's not like her to be late." He spoke putting out a puff of smoke as he did.
Looking side to side as he leaned on the brick wall, quite the few people around. It was weird if you'd ask him since this was a street full of small time eatery and bars. "People need their booze so why are there so little people here? Am I missing an event or something?", he thought to himself discarding his cigar to the ground and steps on it.
"Speaking of which, where are you, Jane?" He murmured pulling out his phone to call her
The call was placed and so he pulled it close to his ear to wait for her to pick up so he listens to the tone of the phone in the meantime. Though a large number of cars were starting to drive over the overpass with their loud horns. He just hope that his conversation won't be affected by it.
"Damn it, Saturday rush." He mumbled cursing the overhead noise
The tone stopped thinking Jane finally picked up. A light smile drew on his face, the only relief he's getting in the evening.
"Jane! Hey, where are you?"
"Cli@!^4" Static gagged Jane but her tone behind the static's muffling was clear
"Jane?" Clint raised his brow trying to listen in closer but all in vain, the static was all that's left... then it stopped.
A sudden and sharp sound pierced through the air but Clint could feel it was originating from within from his head. The world around him seemed more vivid as if everything became a flashbomb detonating before him and then silence as sudden as it began.
He looked up hearing no sound. He sure he wasn't deaf, he could still hear his heart and footsteps as he walked down the alley looking at the more vividly colored cityscape. Not a single soul was there, not even vehicles. All vanished just like that. The city felt like it was suddenly voided of everyone in it.
He looks into his watch seeing the second hand ticking back and forth, stuck in time. Looking at his phone, he it was nothing but static.
"Hello?" He called out in a loud voice
"HELLO!" He shouts but none to answer, not even the wind
-fin (ohhh... cliffhanger)
Now for a lesser serious picture... unless it's a story like attack on titan
