Hi everyone,

I'm in a frustrating situation. Paint tool sai has always worked wonderfully for me. I use it for putting base colors down. Suddenly however its not working right. The other day it would register that my tablet is locked to one screen, therefore when on the sai tab my tablet accessed my entire two screens. It somehow fixed that problem, but now its being annoying again. When zoomed in, it has the curser and then the little circle (your brush) but the brush is so far away from the cursor! Like a few inches! So it makes it confusing where I can color! But get this, I only have this issue on my tablet. Soon as I switch to my mouse, its back to normal. So this is obviously a tablet-sai problem. I'd like to uninstall it and reinstall it but I lost the original file. Can anyone help?

Aah I had a similar problem but with Manga Studio so I don't think it's a Sai problem.

Go control panel, display and you can adjust the resolution of your screen. I find the smallest setting works for me. If it's already at the smallest setting just pick a bigger one, apply, then go back to the smallest one.

I have huge monitors, so I cant have small resolutions, so I made it smaller and then jumped back to 1980x1080 (or whatever the first number is)

what are you hoping to reinstall? if you're referring to your tablet the wacom site should have the appropriate backup drivers, or i can give you a copy of my sai to try!

I'd like to reinstall Sai :o if you would be so kind I would love it if you sent it to me to see if that fixes it! (if that fails ill try my drivers!)

If you have custom brushes or textures on sai, i would suggest you back them up before reinstalling.
Whenever my tablet acts up, reinstalling the latest driver usually works. You can find them here.
