Hello, everyone. Call me Anaerin.
I'm a bit on the older side, but still love RP and have been doing it for years. Now that I've decided to adult a bit more, this leaves me less time for RPing than I'd like but I still want to have adventures with characters in created worlds.
Since I do have my days full with work and other activities, for the time being I am limiting my roleplaying contact and enjoyment to emails. My work has very poor internet reception so the best I can do is hope that my email account works during the day.
Along with that, I also am a low key person and try to make RP as stress free as possible (a hobby should be enjoyable!) To that end, and also with the email aspect, I DO NOT require posts to be made every day. Some days I'll be too tired and my muses will be asleep. Some days yours may be. Some times we may only post to each other once a week. If that happens, that's fine. If you are looking for someone to RP with that's also making zero demands on a timeline, post length or content, I'm your person.
I am ALSO ghost friendly. If you vanish off the face of the earth or simply stop replying, no harm no foul to me. We won't mesh with everything. If you're not feeling it, you're not feeling it. If you want to talk to me and hash out another potential storyline, that's great too! I rarely get the first story right with every partner and sometimes it takes several attempts to find THAT RP for us. I may poof sometimes with some people too. Anxiety makes it hard for me to address faceless strangers at times.
Being really open to a lot of things, I do have some guidelines for what I won't do. I will do dark content but not as full-time in a story. I do fandoms to an extent but not if I'm completely unfamiliar with them.
Alright, so now onto what I am looking for! Really, I'll entertain any idea so long as it's developed and catches my interest. Supernatural scenarios, sci fi, fantasy, horror and some fandoms like video games or pop culture catch my attention. I welcome non-romantic, platonic stories or deep romantic trysts. I even like off the wall stuff like slimes, quicksand and creatures that act like what happens when you put a ferrite magnet near magnetic putty.
I have a ton of characters and a lot more concepts I can tweak. The only thing I ask is, not to bring in rigid characters to a new story. Someone who's fully developed in one RP could end up totally different in another and I want us both to have room and grow. Also, be ACTIVE. DO things in the story! I can't stress this enough. If I lay down a lead for you to follow and I'm storytelling, follow it! Or don't, but be ACTIVE while not doing it! Give me something opposing, give me something to write against, give me content! I promise to do the same in return.
