Couslay looked quite nervous when the knife was pulled out. "Yeah.. Sounds like a good idea! Well please don't die! If vampires can even die that is..." Couslay said running away.

Masaki relaxed when Cousy had ran away.
He didn't want her hurt, and he certainly didn't want her seeing what he would have to do.

The man snarled, lunging the knife towards Masaki's chest.

Masaki twisted out of the way, then drove his own knife into the mans armpit.


" Now we have two options...

Leave me and my girl alone, or I will finish this right now "

Couslay stopped running while fleeing the scene. "Wait.. I have no idea where he lives.. I should probably go back.. But I don't want to.. I'll just wait for him here." she then proceeds to sit by a bed of flowers and waits.

The man yelled out, and ran for it.

Masaki put his knife away, then limped back to the flowerbed.

" Hey there...."

Couslay jumped up when Masaki approached. "Thank goodness you're okay!" and runs over and hugs him. "I hope you're not too hurt alright?"

Masaki groaned at the hug, his cracked ribs aching.

" Ahhh! Yeah I'm okay..."

Couslay crossed her arms from that coment. "Now don't lie to me! I could tell that hurt. So.. Sorry about that. You saved my life and everything, and I go and hug you while you're hurting."

Masaki grinned.

" No no I'm fine, really now it was nothing...

Happens a lot..."

Masaki looked Couslay over to make sure she had no injuries.

" Your okay right?"

"Yeah I'm alright.. Just scraped my knee a little bit, but I'll be fine. Do vampires at least have good recovery rates? I don't like seeing you hurt.. Personally I don't like seeing anyone hurt, but you're a friend and that's worse.." she replied looking quite sad.

Masaki smiled.

" Yes I recover fast. I won't die unless my heart is damaged. So no worries.

Here, follow me, I can take you to my house and we can fix your knee up."

Couslay sighed of relief. "Phew.. That's a relief. Well, lead the way, I would have headed there right away but I don't know were you live." she laughs. "Wow this has been one heck of a day hasn't it?"

Masaki internally face palmed, he should have told her directions...


He walked along the street, stopping at a small house on the end of the street.

" Here it is!"

Couslay smiled "Well it certainly looks cosy. Well here I go." she says as she walks inside Masaki's house.

Inside there was a small living room with several gaming systems and a large TV. The kitchen had some instant ramen on it, and the short hallway on the side led to a bedroom and a bathroom.

" Here, sit on the couch "

"Nice place Masaki!" she said going over and sitting on the couch. "It's really not that bad, it probably just needs a bandage or two.."

Masaki leaned down, kneeling next to Couslay's leg, bringing some bandages. He started wrapping it up. When he finished he smiled at her.

" All done!"


" So what would you like to do?"

Couslay sat there pondering "I don't really know... I don't know of a lot of activities or things... I really don't know a lot at all..."

Masaki sighed and laid back next to Couslay, closing his eyes for a second.


" Sorry...

I'm just kind of tired...."

He smiled

" But I'm glad your okay my lady."

"There's a reason that I actually don't know a lot.." she says looking straight at Masaki. "Ever heard of amnesia?"

Masaki nodded

" Yes yes I have heard of it. Do you have it?"
