After about three minutes of shooting continuously and with only one cartridge left, the last zombie fell and the RPK was smoking.

Camden pulled herself up and hugged Archur , "You did it!", she said. She put her head against his chest. She opened the hatch to climb back down. She slowly climbed down and layed on the bed.

He hugged her back and followed her down, carrying the box of grenades.
"How's your leg?" he asked and looked around for a more effective splint.

"Better. It doesn't hurt much and it hasn't started swelling again since last night", Camden answered. "So are we just going to stay here?", she asked leaning back onto the bed with just her feet hanging off the bed.

"You can stay here if you want, but I need to keep going," Archur grabbed a metal rod and took the branch off Camden's leg and replaced it. He tried gently bending her leg but it didn't budge and he gave a satisfied grunt, "You need to keep your leg as straight as possible or it'll never heal."

"I lthink it would be best for both of us if I stayed here", she sighed. She stood up and hugged Archur, then pulled back to look at him for a second.

"Good just please be here when I come back, okay?" Archur leaned forwards and kissed her forehead.

"Okay. I promise I'll be here. When will you be back?", she asked, looking into his eyes

"Thank you," he tilted her head up and kissed her lips.

She wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed him back. Her eyes were kind of tearing up knowing that Archur was gone. She continued to kiss him anyway.

He put one hand on the back of her head and one on her back, holding her close as they kissed and finally let her go, leaning his forehead against hers, "I'm leaving the gun in case something does find it's way here and you need protection. I've got my dagger/sword things. I promise you, I'll be back. I may not look too good when I come back, hell, I might be dead, but I promise I'll come back to you."

"Thanks.", she smiled, as a single tear rolled down her cheek. "Please try to come back alive though.", she smiled weakly and looked at him one last time.

"I'll do my best," he wiped away the tear and drew his two daggers, pressing the buttons on the bottom of each hilt, turning them into swords, "Bye Camden, I'll see you soon," he promised and walked out the heavy door, sealing it closed behind him before walking through the piles of dead zombies and towards his goal.
He had been blessed the previous night with no nightmares or dreams at all and so wasn't bothered.

Camden sighed and layed down on the bed, crying. She knew it was childish of her but she couldn't help it. She pulled the covers over her head and closed her eyes, dozing off. She had a dream about Archur returning and she was so happy. Then a nightmare invaded. She imagined a giant, fire breathing dragon in the forest, burning anything that was left after the explosion. She woke up startled at how the nightmare had even matching burnt terrain with the ground out here in the woods.

He heard the roar not long after she woke up and groaned, hoping it wasn't what he thought it was and when he saw it, he was almost relieved to see a dragon instead of a t-rex, although what was in front of him was probably worse. He double tapped the button on the hilt of the sword and it turned into a massive, spartan like shield, which he ducked behind as the dragon let out a breath of fire, the ebony shield protecting him from the flames but not the heat.

Camden got some food to make breakfast with. She ate it and wondered what Archur was doing right about now. "Probably whooping ass.", she told herself and smiled.

But was she ever so wrong. Archur was running for his life and screaming like a girl, albeit a bit deeper voiced, the shield on his back as the dragon trailed behind him, letting out a lot of fire.

Camden searched through her bag for something. Luckily she found a pair of really short black shorts and a light blue tanktop. She cleaned herself up and then changed. She sat down on the bed and thought about what to do next.

At one point, the dragon swooped very low and Archur had spun around just in time to slash at its throat, only making it angrier.

Camden looked out the window and sighed. She didn't realize how boring things got without Archur.
She swore she heard roaring earlier but then thought maybe she was imagining it.
