"The tiger teeth didn't help much with the normal sized ones either," Archur grunted.

"those I still find funny"

Archur sighed, "Not when they travel in herds they're not. Alone, sure they were kinda funny," he agreed.
They walked for about another hour before the snarl came again; this time there were two, each about the size of a pickup truck.

"I got this." Jarvis whistled and a portal open where a huge hell hound came through "Lucy mind taking care of these things" the dog barked and launched itself to both jackals throwing them to the ground

Althalos watched as the dog tackled them, "You're just full of surprises aren't you?" Archur smirked and quickly slit one of the jackals throats. The tail of the other one was hissing viciously and bit into the he'll hounds leg, injecting poison.

"damn!" said Jarvis killing the other jackal with a stab in its throut. Jarvis looked at the injury "you'll be ok Lucy. It's fine don't worry" Lucy wimpered at the pain. Jarvis got out a needle of his satchel and injected the contents into the hell hound

"What exactly is she? Lucy?"

"she's a hell hound. I found her as a pup when I went to the underworld"

"Will she be alright? Cobra venom is nasty stuff."

"I gave her a neutralizer. She should be fine in a few minutes"

"Alright," Archur nodded and squated next to Lucy, gently scratching her ears.

Lucy waged her tail wildly. It made a loud thumping noice. "and I tiki you might want to know this. I also have a Pegasus"

"Never much cared for horses," Archur shrugged, "I have nothing against them and they're fun to ride from time to time, I've just never cared for em. Dogs on the other hand," he smiled and started vigorously scratching Lucy's back.

Lucy licked his face making his hair soaking wet. Jarvis pet her haid and laughed "I think she likes you"

"Well I like her too," Archur wiped the saliva from his face, laughing for the first time in what seemed like forever to him. "Well, let's get going if you're still interested in coming."

"are you kidding. If I get to fight a thirty foot jackal I'm in"

"Just beware the tails," he jokingly warned.

"I don't think those will be a problem"

"You know, because a ten foot long king cobra that can spit venom and is on the rear end of a winged jackal isn't hard to take care of at all," Archur rolled his eyes.

"se now you understand. I'll let you in a little secret." he said moving closer "i have powers taken from the gods themselves" he wispered before moving away "and before you start with the Christianity, I want you to remember this was in another dimension where Greek gods ruled humans still. Some call it time traveling, while others say its traveling between dimensions"
