"Yes,it is," Archur said as calmly as he could.
"Archur Fitliano, you are wanted for the conspiracy and intent to kill our creator," the skeleton said as several more joined the one, completely surrounding them, "How do you plead?"
"Guilty," Archur gulped.
"Any last thoughts before you are integrated into the Biomass?" a tentacle reached towards him.
"Screw you," he said and in one swift movement drew his ebony daggers and pressed the buttons on their hilts, making the blades extend into four foot longs swords and he swung wildly, sling off the heads and limbs of the skeletons, making the large creature above them rear up in pain. He cut the tentacle holding Raven and grabbed Camden's wrist, pulling her.
"We need to go and just hope Raven makes it. DOn't stop running!"

"Ok.", Camden said. After a while Raven was up. Camden hopped onto his back and held out her hand for Archer. "Are we ever going to stop running?", asked Camden. She knocked the saddle and everything but the bridle and reins off Raven. Then she pulled the horse into the air. "Damnit.", she said suddenly. "My bow. Okay you are going to kill me for this but here it goes.", Camden said. She turned Raven back toward the monster. "Okay when I see my bow I'm going to jump off of Raven. You turn him around and go back the way we came. I'll run along the trail until I see you guys. I'll whistle then you'll come get me and we'll fly away.", she smiled and imagined her and Archur out in the woods and her hunting with her bow.

"No, you can get a new bow, you can't get a new life," Archur held her tightly to his chest with one hand, "I'm not letting you go back there. For all you know, it's been absorbed into the damn thing."

"But...my bow, it's the only thing I have left to remember my family. Now that I have no family, except Raven, and he's not even a normal horse. But your right, I can't get a new life and I like the one I have here, with you. You're my hero and my boy, and I don't want to lose you.", she blushed at saying the words. Then she smiled and leaned into him, thinking of where she would be if she didn't have Archur.

"I'm what?" Archur blushed but he didn't have time to think about it as the roar of the biomass and the sound of trees being crushed grew louder and he dug his heels into Ravens sides, urging him into a gallop.

"My boy.", she said, her face turning dark red. "Sorry if that makes you uncomfortable.", she says. "She saw the biomass come crashing through the trees, "Pull Raven up. If we go way up above it's head it won't be able to see us, will it?", Camden asked.

"Yes it would. It doesn't really have a head, but all of it's tentacles would be able to see us since they have the skeleton eyes," but he pulled the horse up and into the air anyways.

"Oh great. Now what?", she asked. Looking at Archur. "You're the one who should know what to do.", she said, concern and worry edging into her voice.

"I wish Annie was in my nightmare... That's the robot that killed the biomass with the cannon... Hell, I wish the cannon was in my nightmare," as if on cue, a massive orange laser beam shot down from the sky, going straight through the center of the alien and Archur pressed the horse faster as a massive explosion started to form.

"What the hell was that?!", Camden asked. She pressed harder against Archur. "Was that the cannon?", she asked. She sat speechless as the smoke from the explosion billowed up behind her. Now she had her back pressed against Archur's, watching the explosion. She gasped and said, "My bow! Please Archur, it's not even near the explosion or the biomass. If you just lower Raven, I'll just hold on to his leg, grab it, and climb back up."

"Then what happened to it? Did it not get taken away?" Archur asked as the blastwave reached them, knocking the horse out of the sky.

"Archur!", Camden screamed as they fell out of the sky. "Raven!", she called the horse neighed and raised his wings. The explosion has burnt holes into his wings. She called out to Archur but heard no response.

He had been knocked out from the impact, his body shielding Camden's for the most and he fell out of the sky, unconscious and towards the forest below.

Camden pulled him close. She braced herself and in a few seconds they hit the ground. It didn't turn out the way they planned and Camden hit the ground first, getting knocked unconscious. Right before she hit the ground, she heard Raven land with a thump. Now Archur's body was over Camden's. They lay there, both unconscious.

About 30 minutes later, Archur woke up, his body covered in soot and the area around them more or less burnt and destroyed from the heat of the cannon.
He looked down and saw Camden and quickly rolled off of her and began checking for any broken bones. She would probably have a concussion after a fall like that with all of Archur's weight on her and he pulled her close, crying over her limp form.

After a long time Camden woke up. She couldn't even talk or sit up. She looked at Archur and reached for his hands. Tears streamed down her face from pain. Raven let out a pained whinny an Camden looked toward him. The bones in two of his legs came through his skin and a few ribs pushed against his side.

Archur hadn't even bothered to look at the horse but now slowly moved over to the animal and pulled out one of his daggers, extending it into a sword. There was no way Raven would be able to live like that and he shoved the sword through the front of it's neck, severing the wind pipe and spinal column.
He moved back to Camden's side, blocking her view of the now dead horse and pulled her up and into his lap so that her back was against his chest.

Finally Camden could talk, a little, "Archur, I think my leg is broken.", there was a long pause. "Also my head is killing me, and my chest hurts.", she complained. "Where's Raven?", she asks, now sounding concerned.

"His legs were snapped in half and his ribs were crushed... I-I ended his pain," he said quietly and looked down at her leg.

She thought for a second then said, "Thank you for not letting him suffer." She tried to hug him but just collapsed back into his lap and a few tears rolled down her cheeks.
