[Radio:]A strange -static- cannibalis-[It shuts off.]

The time is 10 P.M, closing time for the local grocery store. Wyatt is boarding up the windows after he hears the news, as well as gathering sharp objects and throwing them outside. He then starts moving a large hoard of supplies to the break-room. He quickly flashes S.O.S with a flashlight outside, then gets back to moving things.

Samantha sighed and shook her radio, trying to get a signal. She is sitting on the roof of an old brick building, her backpack slung over one shoulder and a pistol on the roof beside her. Her legs are dangling over the street below. She hits it once more and the radio emits a static sound before becoming silent.

She sighed and shoved the useless radio into her backpack, wondering what to do now. As she is sitting, she sees a bright flash of light coming from the grocery store in the distance. What is that? Sam stands up, grabbing her pistol and squints down the street to try and see if anyone is there.

A figure of a man is running about behind the boarded windows, faint screaming can be heard. The figure then seems to run somewhere else after shoving canned goods into disposable plastic bags.

Winter hadn't heard of the news. All she new that there was something strange happening. She looked around for any sign of life when the green light caught her eyes. Armed with a box cutter she made her way to the store.

Wyatt had locked the door to the break-room, and sat ready to fight with a baseball bat. Knocking can be heard, once again a S.O.S signal. Static from a radio can also be heard, mostly masking the thumping.

Sam can just make out what looks like movement inside of the building. At first, she assumes that it is just the dead moving aimlessly but then she hears what sounds like a scream. People! Sam instantly kneeled down and swung her legs off of the building. Her foot found a small crack between the bricks and she would start climbing down the building.

As soon as she reached the street she pressed herself against the building, her eyes darting around for signs of the dead. Seeing nothing, she started to run towards the store.

Wyatt starts looking through cabinets, looking for anything he can to make some kind of fortifacation.

He finds nothing useful.

Luckly Winter was close to the store. Which made it easy to avoid confrontation with any of those monsters.
She peered into a window Her eyes where squinted in concentration looking for something, anything,or perhaps,someone when the figure of the man fell into her line of vision.

He looked out a window in the break room at Winter, and he freaked out. He started screaming loudly, piling chairs against the door. All of this ruckus was enough to attract some unfriendly faces. He kept screaming anyway, and every now and then screamed "Stay away, dear god stay away!"

Sam reaches the store and approaches cautiously, her pistol out incase of danger. She was on the opposite side of the store so she did not see Winter peeking through the windows. Instead of looking around, Sam walked straight to the door and tried to open it, only to find that it was locked. Taking a few steps back she pointed her pistol at the lock. Her hands shook as she aimed and she closed one eye right before she fired.

The pistol made a loud noise as it went off, hitting the lock and sending small fragments of wood flying. She could now hear screaming from inside so she rushed forward, slamming her shoulder into the door to open it. The door burst open and she rushed inside the grocery store pistol drawn. Looking around, she could hear screams coming from the break room so she turned and rushed in that direction.

When he heard all the ruckus, he was silent for a second and then realized the window was vulnerable. He once again made a futile hope of finding materials to barricade the door.

He find barely enough to crudely secure the window, he tries to stack the chairs against it.

Winter heard the shot from outside and rushed around to the front of the store. She feared those beast had gotten in,but she only found the door wide open.
She closed her eyes,and breathed in a deep breath. Trying to mentally prepare for what she might find. Then she stepped in.
