You are running through the forest. There are five men in black armor after you, and they are slowly catching up to you. You tried to be faster, but something tells you that you can 't escape. You are getting tired, and you stop right in the middle of a small clearing. They are now slowly coming towards you. But right before they attack you, something happens. A bright flash of a red light appears, and then comes a huge blow. For a few moments, you can 't see anything. When you finally can see, you see that the men in the black armor, who almost killed you just a few seconds ago, lay dead on the ground. Suddenly, you hear a voice murmuring:
"Dark warriors again... They keep trying..."
You turn to the direction from where you heard the voice, and you saw two glowing green eyes, looking right at you...

Hmm... would this character be acceptable? His species can't speak, but that by no means makes him uncommunicative.
If not, I'm currently looking for scenarios where I can RP my character Deril.
Both have good reasons to be chased; Yaki is pretty much from an endangered/near-extinct species (and thus possibly quite valuable to certain people) and Deril is a thief so is quite likely to cause trouble.

Could this character play? I'm not sure why he would be chased, but I'm sure that I could come up for a reason.
As this is the first rp I am using this character in, he will not know about any time traveling that might have happened.
