The night was cold and windy. A young man climbed out of his car in the dark parking lot behind a building. He had the day off, or what little day off it was. Just finishing off a job that he had that day. He needed to unwind, and he knew the bartender at the local bar. Only because he helped the person out from these loan sharks that were trying to take the business away from the owner.
He got to the entrance and stepped inside. Wearing his normal clothes; black leather jacket, brown button up t-shirt, black jeans and black boots with a red undershirt. Looked over to see the bartender/owner of the place. Waving to him when the guy looked at him. The gentleman took his normal spot at the bar.
"Oh man! Mr. Galio..Sir! What a big surprise! Um..wh..what can I get you?" The bartender was nervous and shocked to see the guy who helped him back here. Of course, he told Lucas that he was welcome any time and the drinks were on the house. But he didn't think that he would show up.
"Whiskey neat." Lucas replied back as he handed the guy a twenty dollar bill. "Keep it.." He saw the shock look upon the owner's face but didn't say a word, because he knew that saying anything would make his new friend angry. Quickly the owner took the dollar bill and went to work on making his drink.
Lucas glanced around the bar, it was a normal slow night. Some girls giggling in the corner with a guy in between them at a booth. A couple or maybe not a couple yet, were sitting at the bar talking and having a few laughs. He was happy, though he didn't show it, that this place was still booming and still around.
