It was the first day of school. Vidia picks up her school bag and walks out the door without saying goodbye to her mother, her mother opens the door, and yells out "Goodbye honey, I love you!" Vidia blushes, and runs off, without replying to her mother, pretending as if nothing happened, at the bus stop kids were silently giggling at Vidia for what her mother had just said. She blushes, taking her headphones out of her pocket, and placing them in her ears, she plays her music in attempt to drown out the kids bickering.

Vidia felt the winter coolness as she waited for her bus to arrive, finally, it did, and as usual she sat alone on the bus, and stared out the window, looking at the kids who were too young to go to school play in the snow. Finally, the bus reaches the school, she gets off the bus, and speed-walks into the high school building, trying to get away from all the kids that were on that bus, she was still embarrassed about what her mother did, and the kids laughing, even though they probably weren't even thinking about it by this point.

Vidia, walks off to her locker, and waits for her friends to come next to her by her locker, so she didn't feel so awkward and lonely.

Luna walked into the school and went to her locker being shy and silent like always she kept her hood on to hide her black eye and kept tugging her sleeves every 5 seconds so no one could see her cut and bruise arms she had bruises all over her she sighed and looked around "at least im away from mike" she thought and walked to her class holding her sketchbook

Vidia's friends were seemingly late, or just not at school today, which is weird, considering it was the first day of school, but she didn't think anything of it. Vidia walks off to class, and looks around at the people before taking a seat. She didn't want to sit next to anyone mean, or weird, she scanned the room, and spotted Luna, she seemed friendly, and approachable enough, so she placed her things down and sat next to her.

Vidia didn't say anything, as she was pretty shy. Vidia usually likes to keep to herself, but considering it was the first day of school, and her friends haven't arrived yet, she decided to get to know her. "Hi, my names Vidia, are you new?" She asked smiling, while still unpacking her bag.

*Puts cup down* hi

Vidia glances up at Melanie, and replies shyly, "Umm.... Hi?" She says, uncomfortably, staring at the cup that was just placed on her desk, and back at Melanie, "Do I know you?" She asked uncomfortably.

Luna looked at the girl that just sat beside her she shyly smiled so seem friendly and kept her hood "yes I'm new" she said softly and shyly "my name is Luna" she said softly again watching Vidia unpack her bag, she hid her sketchbook so Vidia wouldn't want to see it since it was filled with dark depressing thing that would scare someone away and not want to be her friend

I'm Melanie or you can call me Mel if you're too lazy to say my whole name *puts hand out*

Vidia smiled, glad to meet someone that was friendly, as she looked at the girl, she noticed she looked a little like an outcast, (I don't mean it in a rude way)

She noticed her sketchbook, and that she was hiding it, "Whats that?" She asked, pointing toward her sketchbook, finally, she finished unpacking her things, and she placed them neatly in her desk, and sat comfortably in her chair, waiting for class to finally begin.

Vidia smiles at Melanie, taking her hand, and shaking it. "Nice to meet you Mel," she replies, smiling, "I'm Vidia, or Vid, thats what my friends call me." Vidia gets up, puts her bag on the table, the teacher directed to put, and sits back down in her seat, waiting for class to begin.

Vidia sketches random things on a piece of paper as she waits.

Brisk air flew past Hayden, his steps tapping quietly on the sidewalk, loud music rang in his ears, coming through a pair of red headphones. He leapt up the steps leading to the entrance of the highschool, Hayden turned the corner, moving down the hall and opening his locker. His small Camelbak pack slid into the space, Hayden closed the locker, feeling for the binder on his right, the strap on his left shoulder. This being done, he walked to a classroom, opened the door and stepped in.

"it's my uh.........sketchbook" she said softly noticing she failed at hiding it and noticed the teacher and hope they wouldn't tell her to take her hood off she didn't want anyone to see her black eye and then make a fuss about it she started thinking about lies she could say for the black eye in case the teacher did

Vidia looked toward the door as soon as Hayden came in, Vidia didn't say anything to him, because she was too shy to approach people herself, and she noticed he had headphones in his ears, so she turned away.

"May I see your sketchbook?" She asked politely, looking at her sketchbook, she noticed she seemed to be hiding something, but decided not to say anything considering they had just met and she didn't want to seem pushy, she looked away from her hood, and back toward her sketchbook.

she looked at Hayden before turning back to Vidia "um sure i guess just please don't get too scared" she said and handed the girl her sketchbook and looked away expecting to be yelled at by her for those drawings since they were dark and depressing and very graphic

Vidia raised an eyebrow when she said "don't be scared" hesitantly, she opened the sketchbook, and took a look at her drawings, they were amazing, but they somewhat made her a little sad, considering the sketches seemed to all have dark, or depressing atmospheres. "Wow.. These are... Amazing." She said smiling, completely ignoring their dark atmosphere.

"Do you take art classes or are you just naturally this skilled?" She asked laughing, Vidia felt quite bubbly today for no real reason, she just felt happy that she had already seemingly made a friend on the first day of school, although she wasn't new to this school, it was generally pretty hard for her to make new friends. She only had a few.

Luna looked up when the girl spoke again hearing what she said she blushed a little "y-you really think their amazing?" she asked softly wishing she could speak louder but every night she was crying and screaming so she didn't have that much of a voice she smiled a little at the girls reaction

Sitting in a desk near the front. Hayden turned his music off, pulling the headphones from his ears he pulled a few papers from his binder as well as a laptop. Hayden pulled a pencil from his pocket, searching for something and beginning to write. His pencil made light noise as it slid across the paper, he worked quickly and almost noiselessly. Placing the papers back into his binder and closing the laptop, he sat back in the desk chair, waiting for the bell to ring.

"Yeah, these are really good." She replied softly, smiling, mistaking the girls soft-spokenness, as just shy.

The teacher finally walked in, "Sorry i'm late class." He said, writing his name on the board, Mr. Harrison he wrote, and faced the class. Mr Harrison, was kinda pale, and tall, he was cute for a teacher. He had dark brown hair, and he looked to be in about his early 20's

"This is my first year of teaching, so please excuse me if I make any mistakes." He says, he has a very booming, deep voice. The teacher begins to go on the basic details and rules of the class, before handing out a worksheet,

Make at least 3 new friends in this class. The headline read, Vidia could immediately feel her heart sink, this was going to be hard for her, considering she was so damn shy she almost passed out once because someone said excuse me. Vidia looked around the class, for anyone approachable.

Luna hid from the teacher hoping he wouldn't make her take her hood off she looked at the paper and sighed "well at least i made one friend i guess" she thought and smiled at Vidia taking her sketchbook back shyly and looked around and saw Hayden again "should i try and talk to him" she thought

Hayden looked at the teacher, then to the paper, his brow furrowed, he frowned. He looked to the teacher again, back to the paper, once more to the teacher. He raised his hand, breathing out and narrowing his eyes.

Vidia wrote Luna's name on the piece of paper, and also noticed Hayden. Vidia got up, and walked toward Hayden's desk, "Um... Hi." She said, blushing, trying to sound a little confident, but she came off as soft-spoken, as her voice cracked. Vidia could feel her heart beating, Hayden didn't really look too approachable, but neither did anyone else.

'Maybe he was nice?' She thought, sighing, in attempt to make her heart rate go down a little, lowkey avoiding eye-contact with Hayden.

The teacher didn't see Haydens hand, as he was staring at his computer.
