Colorful lights flashed as the party carried on, music humming through the speakers of the club. It was crowded, as usual, full of wild eyed and partially drunk patrons. A relatively young looking man was at the center of one of those groups, all smiles and laughing, a woman on each arm. He was the host that was hired for the party, mostly to draw in more customers.

His dirty blond hair was glistening in the lights and his clear light blue eyes were like mirrors. "I must be a lucky man, to be surrounded by such lovely ladies." Lukas said suavely, a soft grin flashing across his face. He was only acting the part he was hired to play, while adding his own flirtatious charm. "Enjoy yourselves to your hearts content!" He bowed, tossing a rose into the group.

The ladies pushed and shoved each other, trying to get the rose and trying to get where they could hold onto his arms.

Lukas slipped away to the break room and sat in a cushioned chair, letting out a quiet sigh. "So tiring to be so popular.." He poured himself a glass of wine, sipping at it sparingly. It really was tiring work, but it was well worth it for the pay.

A woman with slivery white hair and solid black wings had landed in an ally near the party going on, but it wasn't a normal landing. She crashed landed. A demon with wings landed feet away from her, and walked over to her. She still had her wings out and was wounded. The demon had clawed her left wing, making her fall out of the sky in mid-flight.

She looked at the demon and stood up, mot going down without a fight. Her eyes were a strange red color, giving her the albino look or so everyone though. This girl was not a normal angel, she was a Luner Angel, an outcasted one for that, but still a guridain of the nights creatures.

The demon smirked at the girl's detemindation, but he was able to knock her to the ground with just one kick to the side. "It's sad that your father decided to outcast you, your such a rare bred of Luner Angel." He commented on the girl's history making her shoot a glare at him.

"That was his damn choice, let him suffer for it." She hissed at the demon, trying to the stand only to fall back to the ground. She had lost a lot of blood and was lossing more by the second.

The strong smells within the party were suddenly overpowered by something more interesting - blood. The young half vampire stood abruptly and followed the scent, not to feed, but to see who was hurt and if he could help.

Any normal vampire that smelled blood would most often be sent into a feeding frenzy, but not Lukas, no he preferred his blood in packs he bought from the nearest blood bank. People often asked him why he did that instead of feeding, at which he would always reply, "Why dirty myself with such barbaric actions? I have never bitten someone before, and I don't plan on doing so anytime soon." He would say that with a smile and go about his normal routine.

Lukas stepped out the back door, avoiding the outreaching hands of the female patrons wanting to speak with him. He followed the scent to a nearby alley and carefully peeked around the corner, trying not to be noticed until he knew what was happening.

The girl tried again to stand but the demon stomped on her back, forcing her down. "I wonder what price you would fetch. An outcasted Luner Angel with the king and queen of such bred being it's parents, let alone your brother being dead and everyone thinks it was you who killed him." The demon looked at the girl like she was some kins of rare animal that he could sell.

The girl glared at the demon, a low growl ripping through her throat. "I swear on my own damn grave that I didn't kill him! He broke his own fucking necklace because he couldn't stand the life angels like me have to live!" She hissed through her clenched teeth at the demon.

Somehow she found the streght to get the guy's foot off her and use the wall near her to stand. She was breathing heavily, her wings laying at her her sides, hidden in the dark of the night. "With this attutide no one would ever want you as whatever people use your kind for." He mumbled something else under his breath about how the girl acted.

"Most demons use my kind for food! You of all demons should know! Your a fucking lizard man!" She yelled at the man, knowing by his scent what he was. The man was clearly annoied with this girl, he looked like he would tear her heart out of her chest and make her watch it beat as she died, but he was trying to keep from doing that.

Lukas couldn't believe his eyes, baffled and concerned he calmly took a few steps down the alley. "Pardon my intrusion, but I must ask that you step away from the injured lady. If you don't I may remove you forcefully." He bit back a smirk, his blue eyes shimmering in the dimly lit alley. He was accustomed to brawls in the streets, but none like this, it was his first time seeing an angel.

Normally he would pass on by without interfering with such fights, but he was compelled to stop it. He didn't know how he would stop it or why he acted this way. Perhaps he just couldn't stand to see a woman of any species be harmed in such a way, or maybe he just felt like playing the hero instead of the host.

The girl and the demon both looked at Lukas, the demon just chulcked. "You should be the one leaving, this none of your concern, sir. Just handling some bussiness with this ma'am."

The girl snorted. "Trying to enslave someone is not bussiness." She shot at the demon, gaining herself a glare from him. She acted unafaird. "This has nothing to do with you, get going before he comes after you as well." The girl said, nodding her head for him to leave.

Lukas shook his head and smiled coldly. "I'm afraid I cannot leave as of yet, and it is my concern, this is no place to handle such matters. And I cannot tolerate such violence towards a woman, so as I said: Leave or I will make you." He slowly walked towards the two, his arms behind his back to conceal the daggers slipping from within his sleeves.

He hated having to fight, but if the situation called for it he would comply accordingly, using his skills with close range combat and short blades. A slight smirk flashed across his features, hoping to intimidate the demon into leaving without having to confront him with the blades he now held behind his back.

The demon was young, so unlike other demons, had not yet learned his place on the chain of demons and creatures. "You should really get going before this could get ugly. I have no use for haflings, anyways I'd bet she'd get a price than you." The demon jabbed his thumb towards the girl. "Now be gone." The demon waved his hand dismissivly.

As for the girl the wounds on her wing were healing, the smell of blood got weaker and weaker the less she moved. The only problem was one of the demons claws got stuck into her wing, causng the healing process the slow down daramicly.

Lukas let out a brief sigh, this was going to be a pain. "Its your choice then.." He moved quickly towards the demon, the daggers he held glinting in the light as he lashed out at him. He intended to injure the demon just enough to make him flee, he'd rather not kill unless forced to.

As he attacked he glanced for a moment at the injured angel, realizing that her injuries were healing while he was distracting the demon. Perhaps if he could keep the demon occupied long enough she could escape without further harm.

The demon dodged Lukas's attack, not going to give up on what he had planed for the girl. He could smell in the air that she was healing, and knew that if he didn't get her knocked out soon than he would lose a possibly good bit of money.

The streched her wings out only to have a jolt of pain rip through the left one. With the claw in her wing, it was actually getting worse, the ways of healing for Luner Angels was a strange one. She was about to the move her wing infornt of her to get the claw out but only to get pinned down with yet another claw going straight through her right wing and into the ground. She started to try to pull the claw out, then go for the other on the left.

Lukas turned and raised his leg, kicking the demon as hard as he could. "Thats quite enough of that!" He said in a rather annoyed tone, getting a bit angry. This was turning into a very bothersome fiasco and he wondered if it was worth it to get involved in the first place. After mentally kicking himself for thinking such things, he went back to focusing on making the demon leave, by any means necessary.

The demon glared at Lukas before looking back at the girl. "We will finish this another time, Luna." The girl flinched at being called by her name for once tonight. The demon disappered without a trace behind besides it claws in Luna's dark wings. She waas still trying to pull the claws out of her wings before they could get any worse and possibly be enusable.

Lukas put away his daggers and went to the angel's side. "Need some assistance?" He smiled a bit, nervous to touch her wings without her consent first. He was relieved that the demon was gone, but he couldn't help but wonder what would of happened to the angel had he not intervened. The various thoughts disturbed him slightly and he forced them away.

Luna nodded. "Very much." Her voice was slightly higher than normal because she was more worried about her wings becoming nothing more than dead weight. Which would make it easier to track and capture or kill her with two disfigured wings. She tried not to think of what might happen, only on trying to get the claws out of her wings, and getting them healed up. It woul only take seconds for her wings to heal once there was nothing in the wound.

Lukas carefully took hold of one of the claws, pulling it out as gently as he could. "I'm sorry I couldn't stop him fast enough. But I'm glad that I was able to help, even if only a little." He said softly, tossing the removed claw into a nearby trash bin.

"It's alright, if that damn demon didn't hit me from behind then I would've been able to kill him. Thanks for the help." Luna sat up and moved her left wing infornt of her. She began to remove the claw in it.

Lukas reached over and helped her remove the claw. "No problem, you should probably lay low for a while, that demon could come back at anytime." He glanced around for a moment before looking back at the angel.

Luna nodded. "That's what I'm planning to do, but the demon knows my scent and that makes it all the harder to hide." As soon as the claw was removed fom her wing, it healed almost instaly. She moved both her wings back a forth to make sure there wasn't any damage left behind.

Lukas turned and scratched his head for a moment. "Well if you need a place to stay just follow me, it won't be anything fancy though." He started to walk out of the alley, back towards the club. If she didn't follow there was nothing more he could do for her, after all he had his own life to deal with.

Luna though about his offer before she stood. She pulled her wings into her back, and followed the guy. She decided that she would wait and see if the demon found her, or if her husband found out she was gone. She kept quiet, almost like she wasn't there. When her wings were gone her hair seemed more white than silver, her eyes a normal red color.
