This large town is located by a lake and looks very old-fashioned. It is best-known for its haunted house, a tumultuous history, and its diverse population. Also, there have been many strange and unexplained disappearances over the years. Given that those who vanished always had said they were off to explore the mysterious grave site hidden within the haunted house. Most would return, but were usually white as a ghost and terrified thoroughly by an unseen entity. They said they'd see an ghostly spirit in the house.
But as you know, people ignored the warnings of a spirit haunting the land. Even if the disappeared warnings weren't strong enough. The house has been empty for quite some time, and no one knew why it was deserted. It could have been pretty of it didn't reek of ash and death.
Today, starts an adventure of those brave enough to put the disappearances to a halt and explore the haunted house and ease the fears of others...";

"Foolish townsfolk, scared of false entities," Doc muttered as he stared at the house, stroking his pet fox and his thick Russian accent allowing people to only barely understand him. "Come Keera, today we prove zee vuns who are supposedly sane zat zee insane aren't quite so crazy as zey may think," he said to his fox and walked in, the red lenses of his plague mask gas mask reflecting the suns rays as he entered.
The house seemed pretty cool at first. It had several ornate decorations with several stairs that led to the upper floors. Or would have, if the 3rd set hadn't burned away to leave the 3rd floor unable to be accessed at the time being. The floors cracked at each step, burned deeply.
The walls bore etchings from something, like a creature gone berserk. Each etching was inch thick into the charred wall and had been carved with a sharp object. The carvings reached to the 2nd floor, where they mysterious vanished.
Even then, it felt like something was watching Docs every move.

Even then, it felt like something was watching Docs every move.
Doc shrugged off the feeling. He heard voices all the time so the feeling of somebody watching him was no new experience to him and he continued walking through, although Keera was growling at nothing visible.
The floors creak lightly with each step as a few boards buckle and splinter. The tense air was slightly off in a way. The light flickered, though power had been long shut off. Strange laughter resonated in the walls..
Just as a transparent anthro fox-like creature appeared abruptly on a strairwell, growing back.

Doc ignored all of this and the ghostly apparition didn't bother him in the slightest, "Look Keera," he patted his fox, "It is your more advanced relative," he chuckled. Whether it was his insanity or the fact that he was simply oblivious to the possible danger he was in, no one knew. The ghost's image reflected in his gas mask's red lenses as he approached, walkin through the ghost without a second thought although Keera was paralyzed in his arms.
The 'ghost' had a body as hot as a thousand suns, like the heat of a great desert. It's eyes met harshly to Keera's eyes with a scowl of hatred burning deeply within. It's transparent form held an image of a grave within. The hands were paws, but ended in wispy-like claws. ''Hisss.....Trespassers...'' The 'ghost' hissed, turning around to face the two without a sound to be heard from the lack of feet. It had two long feather-like fox tails floating behind it.
"Oh, very hot indeed, but I wear fire proof jacket. I have been in one too many explosions to not wear one," he taunted the ghost. Keera had passed out in his arms, laying limply and he gently set her down, "Tell me; why do you scare my pet? She has done nothing to you."
''You have trespassed onto my sacred grounds, and have desecrated my home.'' The ghost hissed harshly, sand falling from it's kitsune face. ''Why are you here with a pet? Didn't you hear that I scare off everyone that dares to enter?'' It asked coldly, the heat within it now became ice cold as a light frost gathered under it's 'feet'.
"Because a take Keera everywhere is why she is here too," he leaned in close to the apparition, the beak of his mask going through it's face, "She also scares away zee creepers," he pulled away, laughing maniacally. "But, you are not very scary as you clearly think you are. I guess I should go and tell zee townspeople that there is nothing to have fear of. I'll do that after I finish exploring," he picked Keera up and walked through the apparition, frost covering his lenses but he absentmindedly scraped it off.
''I am scary, but you are too insane your mind to accept it. You will face my wraith, you will!'' It hissed, the house rumbling violently as the floorboards cracked and groaned. The walls creased inwards, snapping as a cloud of dust fell to the floors to reveal giant spiderwebs.
"Insanity has it's advantages," Doc said sarcastically, ignoring the movement of the house. Keera had woken up and she was now growling at the spiderwebs. Doc set her down again and pulled up two seats, sitting in one, "Here, have a seat and we will talk," he said, "I am called Doc for a reason. I will now use my partial pyschiatric education to discuss things with you."
The spirit creature floats onto a chair and 'sat' there silently. The two tails it had were coiled around the chair. Its eyes gazed at Doc coldly without emotion, or any sign of respect for him at all. A spirit that seemed bounded to the haunted house.
"Now, vhy do you want to be scary? Does it hold any advantages for fox ghost creatures?" he asked. If one could see his face it would be showing mock interest.
''Humans killed off my kind!'' It hissed, teeth gritted. ''I want them to fear what they have done to my home!''

"I see. How long ago was this?" Doc crossed his legs and looked forwards.
''Around 30yrs ago, back when this crumbling land was only a small village. I lived here alone, but humans insisted on breaking my doors down until one foolish being decided to explore my house. It was then that they found me here. Even though I fought hard, they still managed to kill me...''
"Oh, how sad indeed. I was sane 30 years ago, but zee past is zee past," he stood, smacking his thighs, "Well, it seems our time here is up, I hope to see you again next week for the next therapy session. Good day," he picked up Keera and proceeded through the house.
''You won't get out of here that easily.''
"Oh please, I have been able to escape zee voices in my head. I used many Q-tips, but zey are gone. I don't think this will be too hard, and besides, I only want to look around. Zis is very beautiful home. It seems like something I would live in."
