"I'm trying to sleep hun"
She mutters as she flips over on her other side.

"Well, I suppose that works..." He gives a sigh of relief.

The child remains shaken as Kai's form has yet to move.

"...I don't know what to tell you...it worked on Yui, so I don't know why it's not working on Kai."

"You kill him to!?"

"No! I swear on my own grave I ain't done nothing to him!"

"Liar!"
The child retorts as he curls into the arm of the sleeping parent figure.

"I-I swear! If the medicine worked on Yui there would've been no reason it wouldn't have worked on Kai!"

Kai's ears twitch slightly at the sound of his name.

Roy goes off to get a bucket of water to throw at Kai's face.

At this Kai shoots up only to see a weeping child clinging to his chest. This causes him to glare at you
"What did you do to him !?"

"I didn't do anything! I swear to god, I did like you asked me!"

"And your absolutely sure?"

"110% positive!"

Kai would pause for a second before replying flatly.
"It took me awhile to wake up didn't it and that's why the kid won't let go of my arm?"

"I'm going to assume that's the case." Roy says, calming down, slumping down against the wall, obviously exhausted.

"Sleep dude, I'll take care of this ."

He nods and quickly falls asleep, becoming as still as a rock.

For the next few hours the group would take shelter in the castle walls.resting and laboring as they
