And just like that the kid was no longer in front of you and swept your feet out from under you before using his foot to push the blade from your hands by kicking the hilt at its tip closest to you and dislodging it from your grasp.

"Where'd you learn that? That was mighty impressive...I might have to try that one time." Roy said, getting back up, obviously incredibly impressed with the move.

"Daddy told me you said win at any cost. So I do what felt right!"

"That'll be incredibly useful against heavier opponents, keep working on moves like that. Your small size can benefit from fast attacks."

He nods in agreement and smiles.
Yui laughs as she watches these events unfold "you know you'd make a great dad"

"You think so?" He lightly smiles at the comment. "If you keep at it like this, you'll be able to develop your own style pretty soon."

The child nods as he runs off, seemingly to tell his newly adoptive father what happened.
"Kami that kid is like my brother at that age."

"I suppose I had that kind of energy when I was a kid, too. The kid's gonna be just like him when he's older."

"Oh kami don't curse me like that please!"

"Now, about that stuff Kai told you about. I can get some whipped up real quick for you, if you'd like."

"Thought you said you didn't have any supplies left?"

"I lied. It turned out I had just enough to make us both a mug of mead."

"How would you know that?!, you haven't even moved from this spot since you said that!"

"Did you not hear me? I just said 'I lied." Roy had a bit of a sly smile.

"But why!?"

"Because we Englishmen enjoy playing practical jokes even though we're awful at it.

"I'm gonna kill you now."

"If you kill me, you won't get any of this crap."

"There's more than one white guy in Japan now."

"Ah, screw you." Roy said with a slight chuckle, getting the stuff thrown into the pot.
