Mori darted off to the hallway with ease, then skidded to a halt and went into the door that led to the old kitchen which connected to what used to be a big playroom.
"Woah!" Keera froze in her tracks when she entered the palyroom, "There's a lot of old toys in here," she giggled as she tripped over a wooden train.
''The family that used to live here had several children.''
"I can see that..." she smiled and looked around, her tail wagging at all the fun stuff she could play with during her time here.
''The kids grew old and left, but they never took the toys.''
"Why not?" Keera asked, confused at why anybody would leave such neat stuff and looked at a little, metal wind-up car. The gears in it had stuck and the key was still ready and when Keera gently pushed it, the gears unlocked and it zoomed across the room, making Keera yelp and jump back.
''Well, they were too old to care about the place. I missed seeing them..''
"When was this?" Keera asked and slunk low to the ground, moving towards the car and gently batted at it with a paw, expecting it start moving again.
The car moves, slowly.
''About 56yrs ago. It was a cool place. Colorful, even.''

"So before you died then?" Keera pulled her car back as the car slowly moved but soon lost interest and ran to find something else to play with.
''Yes, when I was alive.''
There were several other toys scattered about, including a giant bouncy ball.

Keera immediately pounced on the ball and it squeezed out from under her and she pounced on it again and again.
"Were the people nice?" she couldn't help but laugh as she played with the ball.

''Very nice and friendly. They loved animals, even foxes.''
"Master likes foxes. That's why he saved me," Keera crouched playfully and pounced the ball again but over shot it this time and cleared the toy, slamming into a wall, "Ow," she groaned.
''Then after they got old enough they just left here and told humans to kill me...I'm so lonely here, by myself.''
"Are you sure it was them? Did they like you?" Keera shook her head as she stood and pounced the ball again.
''It had to be them. No one else knew I existed.''
"But why? If they liked you and were your friends, why would they do that? Master is my friend and he keeps me safe. That's what friends do. How long did you know them?"
''I knew them ever since I moved here long ago as a pup. If they didn't send the humans to kill me, then who did?''
"Well I don't believe it was them then," Keera said as she lost interest in the ball and looked around for a new toy to play with, "But I don't know who could have done it."
