Sage wondered if Crow would taste any good, considering she hadn't eaten recently, and she was feeling moody.

She eyed Crow hungrily, hoping Frost wouldn't take notice.

Crow squeaked,

"O-oi! Frost? Your friend is eyeing me as if I were dinner!!!"

She hid behind Frost, scared.

Frost rolled her eyes,

"Don't worry Crow. I won't let Sage eat you."

She eyed Sage,

"Right?"

Sage didn't seem as agreeable.

" If I don't get dinner soon I'm eating both of you..."

Sage sulked grumpily, eyes narrowed, her tail lashing.

She was just naturally an ass.

"P-please don't eat me. . . . "

Crow shifted nervously, still hiding behind Frost,

"We have food in the carnival, can't you eat that instead of me?"

Sage sighed, dropping the expression, shifting into her usual demon form.

" Fine, you're too skinny to eat anyways..."

Sage sulked wearily.

Frost rolled her eyes,

"Wonderful. Now, let's go eat some food and play some games to win prizes."

She started to walk to the carnival, Crow still latched onto her.

Crow followed along behind, staying close to Frost, mostly in fear of Sage,

"Y-yes. Come enjoy some food and games."

Sage sauntered as a wyvern, her fangs hanging out of her mouth as her tail lashed irritably. She eyed Crow a little before continuing walking beside Frost, bumping her on purpose.
" What a drag..."

Frost rolled her eyes, disconnecting Crow from her shoulder,

"Sage, don't bump into me. Crow, don't be such a scaredy bird."

She walking into the carnival and started talking to Flare, leaving the two behind.

Sage saw that Frost had left the line of sight. Sage slunk closer to Crow, using her wings as front legs, more like a crawling gait.

" Greetings "

Sage had slunk behind Crow

Crow attempted a smile,

"Hello. You're Sage, right? I'm Crow."

She held out a hand.

Sage contemplated eating the hand offered to her. She instead nodded, poking it with her snout.

" Indeed. Well met, I suppose..."

She sniffed the air, glowering suspiciously.

"W-what's wrong?"

Crow looked over Sage,

"Is something wrong?"

Sage shook her head

" You don't have to stutter...

I was joking about eating you, sort of..."

Crow nodded,

"Okay. . . . If you say so. . . Though in general I don't think that threatening to eat someone is a good way to greet them . . . ."

She started to walk to the carnival, gesturing for Sage to follow.

Sage snorted
Introductions weren't really her thing.

" If your not human, what are you?"

Crow shifted her black wings,

"I'm a shapechanger. Though my specific breed can only turn into birds. . . "

" Birds huh?
So you wouldn't like it if I changed to a cat?"

Sage smirked slightly

"P-please don't. . . . "

Crow shifted her wings more, very nervous.

Luckily, they were approaching the entrance.
