Hey!

I'm Shann! I'm new to RPR and all of its fun features, but I'm not new to RP! I've been RPing for 12 years now. It's a bit of a mix experience too, like D&D, gaming, and forum. However, I'm currently RPing characters from WoW, ESO, and FFXIV. I'm hoping I'll be able to find some new RP partners for those niche communities! o/ Or... I hope that sort of RP is alright here?

I tend to drift towards one-on-one RP sessions, but I'm always open to group/forum RP as well! Especially if it's plot driven!

I'm currently 24 and a sophomore in college, majoring in Computer Science. After working as a librarian assistant for four years, I decided that I should probably get my degree, haha. I spend a ridiculous amount of time on homework and studying, unfortunately. ;A; I'm really hoping to find friends that will be lenient on scheduling!

So far I'm liking the website! I'm excited to see what new adventures await! o/

Heck yeah, D&D is great. I generally lean towards Sorc/Wizards. In fact, it tends to be like that every game I play, haha!

Ooh, a one-on-one roleplayer. Someone after my own heart. The type I do is the story writing one, rather than the tabletop games, and mostly I do my stories in the messages rather than the forums. Although I think almost everyone does it that way.

Hey, one on one roleplay is actually one of the most popular ways to roleplay here! And of course, having roleplays from games like WOW and FFXIV is always acceptable. (In fact, I have seen a few RP offers from ESO and WOW fans about, if that helps you out.) There's really no wrong way to play around here, I believe.

o/! I'll keep all of that in mind. Forums tend to invite a lot of people, especially when it comes to more plot-focused stuff. Story writing RP is always fun.

Oh man, that makes me feel even better. When it comes to finding RP partners within those groups, do I search for the game, and then message people that have their characters linked under that game?

I have no bad feelings towards that sorta RP! I would imagine that this is a site that people are looking to have fun, write, and play pretend. I try to have the outlook to not judge people, esp when it comes to what they do on their relaxing time.

Other places I shall not name, well Gaia was one were pretty harsh towards canon Rpers and would go on their soap box and bully people who RP canons. RPR is pretty friendly to me and I feel welcomed here than I did in other places.

We all come to RP and have fun. Regardless we are a canon Rper or OC. I think it's fun IMO, since my canons can have their own adventures in any setting.

Hopefully you're having a great time here so far. I'm pretty new myself and am loving this community and I hope you are too. Look anywhere and you'll find some fun people to hang with.

I greatly enjoy one x one RPs as well and you can generally find just about any kind of roleplay to suit your needs, so dive right in and have fun.
