everyone had been waiting since the dawn of time for either magic or science to allow us to explore the stars.
who knew that they would have to work together
you and 5 others banded together 17 years after the final frontier launches have bought a ship and must work together to maintain your ship.
you will face threats beyond your expectations as both magic and science band together to make a profit.
there are 5 factions
The SCP Foundation: strongly against magic users who are not one of them or they know their magic and how to counter it
The SRA; Science rebel alliance hate the EVA and will do anything to end them have massive areas both on and off the galactic map, control industrially made metal planets in the core worlds with a few outposts (lead by an Unknown administrator and have anomalous soldiers)
The EVA: Earthen Visionary Alliance, believe that science is a excuse for lack of knowledge and belief they control minor systems. (basically opposite of SCP)
Space XENON; Want Human-Alien Rights and focus on advancement of technology and magic knowledge Controls SOL and other ORION Spur Systems
the dark spiral; They are outlaws who have conquered massive areas of the outer rim who hate all non humans and will kill any unknown ships on sight,

What is the occasional dice use for?

Attacking and skills to do with characters (I want detailed characters but I am not serious in any way shape or form only detailed combat and ship skills)

Any magic restrictions or limitations?

some but nothing out of usual standards like usual attacks are allowed just nothing like making a blackhole as that is over powered (there is a black hole bomb though.)
