(No need to apologize. My school's computers act up occasionally.)
"Sure," she readily agreed.

"Let's waste no time then! If we follow down this path, we should make it there by sun down."

Moon nodded, tucking the book under one of her arms. "Lead the way, noble sir."
He laughs a little, "There have been reports have bandits along the road, so keep your guard up." He draws one of his swords, to prepare himself for the potential attacks.
She felt a small amount of worry. If they were about to be robbed and they couldn't make them back off, she might have to go on the offensive. There was a slight chance that would happen, but still..
Shaking her head, Drop put her train of thought on hold, choosing instead to marvel at their surroundings.

A short while later, the mountain peak could be seen, the sun was looming over the peak, showing for a beautiful golden-pink light show. "It's a lot more enjoyable walking with a friend, don't you think?" He said, trying to make some small talk.
Usually, Moon only thought the night sky or snow was the best scenery the world, but the sunset behind the mountain was impressive. "Yeah. That way, you have someone to share it."
He smiles, the sun is slowly setting behind the mountain, various animals can be heard making various noises, only adding to the ambiance. At this moment, it seemed like nothing could go wrong.
The witch enjoyed listening to nature's music as her mother raised her to respect Mother Nature and her children. It was a shade's mentality, after all.
"Thank you for joining me on this little adventure, it's nice finally having a friend."
"Don't you have friends at school?" she asked.
"No, I've never gotten along well with the other students for some reason."
"I thought you'd have a lot with your personality and all. You're pretty cool to hang out with."
"Thank you, that means a lot." He smiled at her, feeling quite good to have a cool friend like her.
Giving him a reassuring smile, Moon opened her book to read while walk.
"We'll reaching the base of the mountain trail in just a few moments. This is where most of the bandit activity has been reported." He informs her, readying his other weapon.
"Okay." She flipped through a few pages for spells to defend them with.
They reach a short bridge over the river, up ahead a campsite can be seen, however it isn't clear to Kyoya whether it's a hiker or a bandit camp.
Moon spotted them, too, also unsure of the group's purpose. "Is there a way around them?" she whispered.
(I have to go. I'll talk to you tomorrow!)
