"I didn't come all this way just to turn around, let's keep going." Kyoya said heading towards the western door.
"You heard him, voices!" Moon followed him. "By the way, I can't use much more magic." Her volume was quiet so the ghosts wouldn't over-hear.
"Don't over exert yourself. Leave me behind if it comes down to that, alright?"
She nodded once, still ranting in her head. Of course she was running low. She had wanted to ensure that her affinity wouldn't be able to stay in control for long. It's why she had only had an apple before she went to practice, skipping every other meal. It wouldn't be long before she was back to normal..
The come across an alter with a beautiful display case holding a special gem.
"I think we've found it... The Sapphire of the Stars." He says, smiling. The gem was shining in a radiant bluish-white color.
Suddenly, the door behind them slams shut and seven spirits appear before them. Each of them appear to range between 5-7 years old.
The oldest, a young girl "Why are you still here...? That treasure belongs to our master..."She said.
The others chimed in, "Leave...or we will be forced to kill you..."

“You let someone tell you what to do?” she asked. “Why?”
"Of course...he fed us...housed us, clothed us, and loved us completely." The youngest boy chimes in.
"He wasn't our master...he was our father." Said another in what appeared be a bloody, torn outfit.
Kyoya remains silent, listening to the conversation between the two.

The teen laughed bitterly. "That doesn't mean sh*t. If you all died, then he obviously didn't try hard enough to save you."
"It wasn't his fault...he had been possessed by a demon...we perished soon after." The oldest one says, obviously quite offended by what she said.
The other spirits look quite sad with what she said, but they are silent.

Moon shrugged. "What does any of this have to do with the sapphire?"
"While he was alive...he revered the sapphire, considering it a gift from God." She says, "He had asked us to protect it when he died..."
"Does that mean he's not here?"
"He died soon after my younger sister had perished..." She was pointing the young girl in the bloody, torn outfit.
"Why do I get the feeling that the man with you was the one that killed you kids?" Kyoya breaks into their conversation.

(What man? The dad? Another ghost?)
(The dad. I suppose I should be a bit more descriptive )
"Yeah," she agreed.
"You're wrong...he loved us very much... She says, shaking her head in disbelief. The other children have disappeared, leaving the oldest behind.
"Are you sure he didn't just use you?" Kyoya asked her.
"Are you sure he didn't just use you?" Kyoya asked her.
The ice that had been growing on Moon Drop started melting as though put under a heat lamp. She once again cursed under her breath. "Can we speed this up?" she whispered to Kyoya.
"If your father truly loved you...why isn't here in the temple with you?" Kyoya asks her in a soft voice.
The girl looks down before disappearing. The sinister feeling has disappeared along with her.
"Well, that ends that." Kyoya said before turning to obtain his prize.

"Good. Now let's go back outside," she said, wanting to leave as soon as she could. The colder weather would help hold her affinity over for a little longer.
