"If there's one thing my mother taught me, it's to trust your gut," she smiled.

"I wasn't able to come across the sapphire until I traveled up with you." He smiled back at her, "Besides, this might reflect well on us back in school."

"Really? They give credit for finding magic items?"

"Well, yes. But, it makes them feel good when they see students working together, both in and out of school. One of their biggest missions there is to teach cooperation between one another."

"Ah." Moon nodded her head once. "Cool. So, what's this Sapphire of the Stars do?"

"It's able to control light and air." He says, using it to fire off a bright beam of light towards the sky. "It should be useful for defense."

"Awesome," she smiled.

"Thank you for coming along with me up here. It wouldn't have been as enjoyable without you."

"Yeah?" she asked, smiling as though she thought he was joking. "Even though I went bonkers after the first quarter of the way?"

"It was interesting and a bit frightening, I'll admit. But, it was enjoyable nonetheless," He smiles at her.

(I gotta go, I will be back soon, though.)

"Then you're welcome for that. I thought the sights were pretty despite what I might've said at the time."

"Perhaps we'll even become well known in the school."

"Known for what?" she asked. " 'The guy and girl that found a shiny rock'?"

"...I suppose it could be worse, right?" Kyoya says with a slight smile.

"True. Hopefully, they'll leave out the 'killed a bunch of bandits' part out." Laughing, Moon shook her head.

They reach the base of the mountain again, near the bandit camp. "Well, maybe the bandit killer title will drive potential threats away?"

"Yeah, I can see that." When she saw where they were, Drop tilted her head to one side. "Why do you think they called us 'lovers'? My social skills ****, so I wouldn't know, but is it normal to take your girlfriend on an adventure involving danger?"

"Perhaps it was simply because we were traveling together? The people around Serentias like to poke at young people, especially is they're together."

"That's stupid," she said bluntly. "How is that entertaining?" She wrinkled her nose while speaking.
