The witch felt better knowing they didn't have long before they'd be out of the burning sun. She pressed on, new energy pushing her forward.

Reaching the ruins, a peaceful energy can be felt flowing out of the temple.

"Is that from the jewel?" she asked him.

"Possibly, it could also be relating to the local lore about these ruins, too." He said, not totally sure himself.

"That's fine," Moon smiled. "It's alright if you don't have to know everything about every ruin."

"I suppose we'll find out, eh?" He said, entering the ruins.

Drop was right behind him, as was Seth. "It's still hot, but it's a lot better than out there."

"If I'm correct, this was the resting place of King Serentia, the founder of the original nation 4,500 years ago..." He looks around, marveling at the architecture.

"I've never heard of him, but he had pretty expensive taste," she smiled.
Seth walked with them, his head looking everywhere for danger.

"I suppose it's just a kingly thing to do." They continue moving through the temple, coming upon two separate doors.

"Which do you want to take?"

"Should we go ahead and split up for the time being?"

"That's what I was thinking. What am I looking for, exactly?"

"The Amethyst shines a deep black color, keep your eyes peeled for anything else." He said, "Good luck back there.

“You too,” the witch smiled. “Come on, Seth.” Her and her wolf entered the door they were in front of.

(Should I do the room your character’s in, and vice versa?)

Kyoya smiled and headed down the one he was in front, drawing his swords just in case.

(Do you want the amethyst in his room?)

(Nah, let's throw it in hers for some added drama )

Kyoya found himself in a turquoise room with dark windows that seemed to be tinted to keep the sun out while still letting in light. There were marble columns which supported a domed ceiling with painted gods and goddesses floating around on clouds or standing with animal depictions.

Moon Drop closed the door behind her, taking a look around the space she and her wolf had stepped into.

Moon Drop stepped into a room with depictions of the ancient people, finding a coffin, was this the ancient king? Around the room were various jewels and ancient coins.

"I don't know why I didn't come in here sooner... It's beautiful..." Kyoya looks around, marveling at the artifacts
