"...What happened to you?" Kyoya asked, continuing to approach Moon, his voice was softer.
(I gotta go for now, I should be back in an hour.)
“That king,” she growled, still not facing him. “He told me he enjoyed killing shades and witches, that we were weak and deserved to be eradicated completely.” Drop’s hand clenched tighter, a small amount of blood dripping on the sand as her nails dug into her palms.
(Okay!)
(Okay!)
"I hadn't realized he hated them...had I known that, I wouldn't have brought you here...let's get you home, you need some rest..." Kyoya said, reaching his hand out for her.
Her initial reaction was to yank it away from Kyoya, but -either due to the heat or exhaustion- Moon refrained from lashing out. Instead, she went from being angry to feeling upset. The blue faded into silver as her orbs shined with unshed tears.
They had been killed, so many living people made by Mother Earth just slaughtered..

"You just proved that bastard wrong, you managed to kill him. That should've meant something...I can tell you from this perspective, you're anything BUT weak..." Kyoya attempted to console her, "Please...you're more than just some weak little monster...you're an amazing person, and an even better friend."
Seth leaned into her, placing his wet nose in the palm of her free hand.
Giving his head a pat, she handed Kyoya the amethyst. “Thank you.”

Kyoya put the amethyst into his pocket, "Come on...perhaps we should stop and grab a bite to eat along the way." His voice was softer, "Thank you for the help through this temple..."
“No problem,” she smiled, letting the topic beforehand drop. Her fingers absently traced the jewels on the scarab beetles’ backs.
"Do you have any idea where we should go eat?" He said in an attempt to lift the mood between the two.
"Have you ever eaten at Burger King?" she asked.
"It's been a few years since the last time I went there." Kyoya clutched the gem that was in his pocket.
"We could go there," she offered. "I, personally, love their bacon burgers."
"What are we waiting for?" He asked, "Let's go get a few bacon burgers!" Kyoya's voice was a bit more excited than earlier.
Laughing, Moon Drop shook her head as Seth's ears perked up at the mention of meat. "Then we have our next destination."
"Wonderful! Afterwards, we should probably start prepping for school, unless you'd want to take off to the last Gemstone." Kyoya said in response, smiling.
“Hm, let’s see: Going on another adventure to more old, beautiful ruins, or going to school.” Her tone was joking and sarcastic.
"Honestly, I have no idea what lies with it. The only thing I could tell you it's supposedly on a dark island twenty miles south of Serentias's coast." He said, laughing.
“The coast? I’ve never seen the ocean before.” Moon tried to imagine how it’d look.
"Neither have I. Most Serentians avoid the coasts due to local superstitions." Kyoya had stars in his eyes. "I've got one more stone to collect...the Ruby of the Cosmos."
