"They used to go on and about this whole destiny nonsense and that Azure willed for us to meet, her reasons are unknown, but she generally knows best. And, if she thinks you're the best one, who am I to argue? She made a great choice." Kyoya smiled back, the ring shined up like the average headlight on a car.

“I don’t know who Azure is, but I’m forever grateful to her and Mother Earth.” She grabbed his hand with a content smile. "Looks like we're close."

"I love you...you're an amazing gift from the Goddess of Water, I think...Mother Earth is a beautiful thing, too." Kyoya gently intertwinned his fingers with hers, smiling.

“I love you, too, Kyoya.” She meant it all, beaming brightly. “I’ll never be able to repay them both for you.”

"I could say the same, I don't know why they chose us, but I've got no complaints...I can't think of anyone better to spend my life with, you mean the world to me.. It's a love without end, amen." Kyoya said, his heart was racing.

“There’s no one that could mean as much to me as you. My desire to be a shade has always taken priority to me, but I’d give up the title if the need arrives.” Heart beating erratically, she kissed his cheek.

"You're so sweet...but, I don't want you to change a thing, just be yourself, alright?" Kyoya asked her, kissing her cheek back, the ring was soon pulsing much quicker and louder. "I think we've found our target..."

“I won’t,” she promised. “Should we start looking around in this room?”

"Yeah, the jewel should glow in a similar bronze color to the ring, but it's a bit darker." Kyoya informed her, searching around the various nooks and crannies.

"Okay." She searched with him.

(Who should find it? It'd be funny if Seth did. )

(Yeah, let's have the wolfy find it. )

"Any luck over there?" Kyoya asked her, having little luck himself.

"No," she sighed, setting down a stack of books she had picked up.

Having decided to assist, Seth was snooping around. He came across a patch of floor unlike the rest. Instead of the same type of marble the rest of the tomb was, it was concrete hastily painted to appear like it was. He sniffed, and felt a shock travel up his nose, making him sneeze.

"You alright over there, Seth?" Kyoya asked, leaning against a pillar, "The ring's glowing like crazy, so it's obviously somewhere around here..."

Rolling his eyes, the wolf dug at the false floor with both of his paws to emphasize his meaning: 'It's right here, guys.'

Drop walked over having heard the sound of his nails against concrete. "That looks like a rectangle's been cut out there, doesn't it?"

"Have I ever mentioned how glad I am Moon added you to the team?" Kyoya said, petting Seth's head, "We found it finally. The ring's might will be made whole again, and it's all thanks to the wolf."

"Here you go," the witch cooed, handing him scraps of meat she hadn't eaten, which he gladly accepted. "I can break it open," she offered.

"Alright, I'll let you do the honors then." Kyoya's face lit up in happiness, "I'll make sure to get some fresh meet for Seth here later."

(I gotta go, I'm not sure when I'll be back.)

His tail wagged a half-inch in either direction.

"{Expand}." There was the sound of ice cracking that steadily grew louder. Once it was so loud, the cement shattered apart, ice and chunks of concrete scattering around.

(That's fine. I'll talk to you tomorrow!)

"Moon, you are a goddamn miracle." Kyoya said happily, the ring continued pulsing, confirming the object is what they've been looking for.
