She saw Lupus and sent him a friendly smile. She gestured for him to come over if he wanted.

Lupus saw her and complied to her gesture.
"Hi."

"Hi," she replied. "Do you want to sit?"

"Sure."
He took the seat next to her, looking out into the arena.
"He's doing rather well, certainly a warrior Mother would be honored to have in her army."

Drop didn't know who his mother was, so she didn't respond to that bit, not to be rude, but from a lack of knowledge.
"He's trained a lot," she agreed. "And after fighting those monster squids, it's no wonder why Kyoya's good." It wasn't said in a boastful way, more in respect. "I probably wouldn't last ten seconds there."

The battle between the swordsman dragged on, Kyoya coming out on top purely because of his poison magic, slowing his opponent enough to be thrown out of the ring.

"Real Life Experience is the best training."
He replied, still looking at the battle.

Upon Kyoya's victory, Moon stood and clapped again. She nodded to Lupus. "It is," the witch agreed.

"The semi-finals next. Absolutely perfect." Kyoya said, slamming his sword in the ground, smiling a bit.

"Hmph, the little wimp actually won..." Said a familiar voice near Moon. It belonged to the bully from earlier.

"That 'little wimp,'" she growled, "has a name."

"Oh, if it isn't the ice queen. Protecting you're little guardian are we?" He asked, rolling his eyes.

Kyoya soon came back into the waiting area to be called out again.

"He doesn't need protection, unlike you," she retorted.

"We'll see about that. Perhaps he'll get lucky and face someone else in the semifinals, I promise he ain't going to return to you in one piece." His voice was harsh as he left them.

Soon, he and another student were called up for the first match of the semi finals.

"Hey, you best leave them be."
Lupus said in a warning tone.

Glaring after the teen, Drop took a deep breath. If they had kept talking, she didn't know what she'd have done.

The match between the axe wielder and his opponent was over quickly, his overwhelming power was too much. However, it seemed he was a bit slow.

Kyoya soon took part of his match, using his opponent's lightning weakness to his advantage.

Moon watched, cheering him on in her mind, a smile resting on her face.

"The finals... The big bastard will be fun taking down." Kyoya said, returning to the stands as they prepared the arena for the final match.

"You're doing great," she told him.

"It's because you're here." Kyoya smiled, hugging her briefly. "That old bastard's been getting on my nerves long enough...now's the time I can beat him----without getting in trouble, of course."
