“Sounds like Schlitterbahn,” Moon chuckled.

(A kid literally lost his mind on a water slide there just last summer, now the park's going under heavy renovations.)

"Yep, that's the one. It's a fun place indeed." He laughed a little, smiling. "Perhaps we should take a vacation in the states soon.

(Okay? )

“Without fighting every step of the way this time,” the witch laughed.

(The slide the kid went down was ridiculously large and pretty unsafe, during a drop, he slammed his chin in a metal guard rail, causing his head come off.)

"That would be awesome. I hope them Americans are as accepting of knights and witches."

(I'm kind of apathetic, so sorry if I don't sound remorseful.)

She lost some of her smile, pushing around the rest of her food with a fork. "Not really.."

(Nah, it's cool. I've made a few jokes about the entire thing.)

"What do you mean?" Kyoya asked, before realizing he should change the subject.

“I moved from Texas,” she replied. “And I told you why I moved so many times.” Her tone wasn’t angry or irritated, but had a ting of regret.

"That's right...I'm sorry. Maybe we could move out into the countryside of Serentias, maybe that'll feel more like home for you." He said softly.

Moon Drop smiled at his attempt to comfort her. “It’s alright. I always did like the country-side. You can see the most stars there.”

"Yeah, it's certainly a lot cleaner out there. The city life ain't all what it seemed to be." Kyoya smiled, finishing up his meal and paying the tab.

“There aren’t nearly as many cars driving by at night, or neighbors making loud sounds. You could go on walks without worrying about dealing with anyone.” She smiled at the thought.

"We could live our lives in peace, perhaps no longer having to engage in pointless battles anymore...and become a real family."

“We could,” she agreed. “After we find a way to complete our mission.”

"Right." Kyoya smiled, "I'll do whatever it takes to complete it."

(I had my teacher pass me since I failed again by ONE flipping question. I only had him do that one other time in the past two years! Ugh, I hate apex some days..)

"As will I."

(IDK. Do they go somewhere else to celebrate? Them getting back to one of their houses after dinner?)

"So...where shall we head off to?" Kyoya asked as the two left the place.
