I'm Gadgetron1, AKA Gadget though you can call me whatever you like.
I've been roleplaying for almost four years now, mostly forum roleplays with a few one-on-ones with my IRL friend. I adore all roleplays with magic in especially.
I love reading all thing fantasy and sci-fi but surprisingly despite all this English is my least favourite lesson. I'm hoping to use roleplaying to get my creative juices flowing ready for my creatiev writing exam.
Currently I'm revising heavily for my exams so I probably will only really be able to get on for a few hours on a weekday up until the middle of June. I go by GMT times.
Some random facts about me: I'm a dog-lover and my family own a dog and a budgie. My favourite subject is Science (Biology) & my favourite colour (currently) is blue.
I hope to find some awesome roleplays on here and be able to develop my characters some more. Please forgive any awkward spell-corrects as I'm usually online using my iPod.
Now, I should probably get back to that English revision I'm meant to be doing...Ooops. Can't wait to have some fun on this website!

I did a creative writing exam a few years ago and the only question on it was to write a story in sixty words, so I panicked and wrote about some guy taking out the garbage for the restaurant he worked at and the bag split open and human body parts fell out, lmao. It was a mess...but amusing in hindsight.

What is the general procedure for joining a roleplay here?
I come from a website where you'd make and post your character form on a forum to get accepted but obviously here you have your characters ready made and all that.

Generally, you make a thread on the Looking for RP board detailing what kind of roleplay(s) you're interested in, or to look at other people's ads until you find one you like. You don't need character profiles made up beforehand. You could also search around the General/Fantasy/Sci-fi roleplay boards and look for open groups to sign up for.
