I didn't want to report it as a bug in case it is just me!

But I've noticed over the last month or two I am unable to view images. I will start at the beginning of a characters gallery, clicking through, and eventually come to one image that takes forever to load or sometime it doesn't load at all. It will give me the loading icon for quite some time.
Switching between character pages is fine (though sometimes I have had backgrounds stall on loading, which is somewhat new) or between character pages.

Anyone else experiencing this? There is a chance it could just be me, though I have cleared cookies and done the basic web 101 when it comes to loading issues.

Considering the craptastic condition of my internet connection, I had assumed it was an issue on my end. It's not uncommon for images in general to have issues with loading.

But I experience the exact same thing as you do, Dylan. I also notice that sometimes, avatars in chat will not load properly and I need to do a hard refresh to make them show up again.

I haven't had avatar issues, but I have noticed some images in folks' galleries taking a while to load when I scroll through the images. They seem to do alright when I click out of the gallery image I'm trying to view and reclick it at the first one I see.

But that always seemed to be something I had with galleries in one form or another-- still, maybe it's related to this lil' issue? *headscratch*

That's the issue, yep.

Do you guys also have issues with images loading slow compared to the rest of the site when they're displayed full size, or only when you view them in the lightbox?

I've always noticed it in the lightbox. Never had any issues with full-size loading.

Confirmed this on my end too.

Only on the light box. It seems to happen with random pictures (I thought maybe it was only happening with pictures marked as mature, but that doesn't seem to be the case.) Even when I right click, open the picture in a new tab it takes a while to load.

I've started to notice a strange pattern of certain images not appearing/loading-- instead I get the link of the image that acts like the image (not highlight-able, can 'drag' a ghost image of the link about like I can with my own [ img ][/ img ] pictures), but when I right-click and 'View Image', it shows up as some 'Fanpop' image sharing site or something? Is that how the RPR shows pictures on the site? Either way, no amount of refreshing will bring the image up as it should be.

Scratch that scratched out bit, but either way things coming from this 'fanpop' place don't seem to load at all!

This is not the gallery issue, by the way-- this seems to be appearing with image-tag pictures instead.
