As many of you fine folk here do, I rp many genres, and would love to branch out into more. Problem is, I can't learn what I don't know if nobody is there to teach it. (Words to live by.)
Basically, I have a vague interest in steampunk and would like to explore the genre more. If anyone can help me 'explore', hmu.

What do you like?
I myself like...
Fantasy
Sci Fi
General
Adventure and Action
Angst
I use to loathe angst, because back in the day, all Angst RPs I saw were just the same "I hate my parents" type ordeals until I me a good RP partner where our muses do some pretty angsty RPs from one where my character nearly died to one where my Muse protected theirs.
I would LOVE to try to get into steam punk myself.

That said, I'm into giving it a try with you, or just having a conversation, if you're into it.
I've been pretty active in the annual steampunk festival in my hometown, and also I work in a museum with a fair amount of Victorian-era artifacts, so if you have any particular questions I could probably answer them.
I've also been wondering about the steampunk genre as well, to be honest. I'd love to RP it out more myself! One of my characters comes from a desert steampunk planet, so it'd be some good experience.
But if you want to do a bit more of worldbuilding alongside RP, I think Google can be your best friend when it comes to looking up steampunk stuff for inspiration. It's helped me a bit. Looking at some steampunk online communities can be of some use too, though I haven't found many yet.

I will definitely keep that in mind. Thanks.

I don't really have any particular questions, moreso just general curiosity.

Mostly just sci-fi and fantasy, pretty few, but those are honestly the two I play the most of.
