Kuro finished unpacking her stuff and shrugged. "You could show me around here since I've only been in your apartment once."

"Sure.", he said guiding her around the house and showing her everything.

"Alright, now you decide what we do next."

"Umm, well this apartment allows pets. We could go adoot a dog from the pound.", he suggested.

"Sure, why not?" Kuro smiled.

Once again, he got the keys to his hummer and got in.

Kuro got in as well.

Drake drove them to the pound. He got out and walked in and said the man standing at a desk, "Hello. I would like to adopt a dog." "Alright.", the man said. After talking and signing a paper saying he had the money and stuff to take care of a dog, they entered a long room, full of dogs.

Kuro look at many of the dogs before saying "Should we get a puppy or a little older dog?" She looked up at Drake.

"I think we should get a puppy.", he said, looking at a pitbull mix. He was alone in his cage. All of the other puppies in the cage with him had been adopted.

Kuro frowned at seeing the small pit bull puppy all alone. "How about this one?" She said, pointing at the pit bull puppy.

"I was thinking the same thing.", he said as a women unlocked the cage and handed Kuro the puppy. Drake had to sign another paper and show them his I.D.

The little puppy seemed happy to finally have a home and licked Kuro's cheek. She smiled and held the puppy in her arms. "What should we call him or her?"

"They said it's a he. I'm not sure. Maybe we should wait a few days and see if anything comes to us.", he siggested.

Kuro shrugged. "Alright, but we have to train him as well to make sure he won't be troublesome."

"Yeah.", he says. "We should go buy some supplies for him.", he said, pulling into the parking lot of Pet Smart.

Kuro opened her door, still holding the puppy. "Yeah, come on we better hurry before night comes to us on surprise again."

"Yeah.", Drake said, grabbing a small blue camoflauge collar and solid blue leash into the basket he was holding. He got two bowls and a small bag of dog food. He held the food and put the bowls in the basket. The last few things he grabbed were a brush, a small bed, a small thing of treats and a pad for the puppy to use the bathroom on while they was training it not to go in the house. He lugged all of the stuff to a register and checked out.

Kuro helped get some of the stuff while still holding the puppy that was wagging his small tail happily. She helped carry the stuff into the hummer and got into the car.

Drake let out a sigh of relief as he put down all the stuff he was holding. He got into his hummer and started it. He reved the engine a few times and pulled out of the parking lot. When he got home, he took out the puppy's bed and food and water dishes. He filled one with food and asked Kuro if she would put water in the other. He put a pad beside the puppy's bed and put the collar on him. He attatched the leash to the collar and stood by the door, "Kuro, I'm taking the puppy to try to start teaching it to go to the bathroom outside."
