"Shut up! Just shut up! I knew I should have left when I could." She pulled her knees to her chest, hidding her face so Drake couldn't see the tears that flowed down her cheeks. She could feel her heart hurting with every beat and every tear she cried. "This is why I don't trust people! Someone always gets hurt in the end! It's never worth the pain it causes!"

"Kuro , I'm only human, and I make mistakes. I really am sorry but ill understand if you don't won't to forgive me", he said.By now Sophie had come outside, "Get the hell away from me!", he told her.

Kuro looked up to see who he was talking too and saw Sophie, then hid her face again. "I don't get why everything has to hurt sooner or later." Tears still streamed down her cheeks. "Drake, you know I could never hate you, I don't know why."

"Well I guess that's how life works. Do you want to go back to the hotel?", he asked.

Kuro nodded, her tears drying up. She extended her hand, showing she needed help getting up.

Drake helped her up and they walked back to the hotel room. "I have stupid college tomorrow", he said, sitting down on the bed.

Kuro sat down next to Drake. "Can't you call in sick?" She looked up at him.

"Huh. Yeah I could. Good idea I'll call In in the morning", he said, hugging her.

Kuro hugged Drake back, her head on his shoulder. "I'm full of good ideas."

"Yeah. That's one thing I love about you," Drake smiled.

"I'm just happy that you care about me." She pulled back some away from Drake to look him in the face, she kissed him for once.

He kissed her back and placed one hand on her back and one behind her head and thought to himself, "Whoo hoo!"

Kuro wrapped her arms arouns the back of Drake's neck, not caring that he had his hands on her back and head.

Drake pulled his head away from Kuro's and smiled. He took his hands off of her and asked, "So what do you want to do now?"

Kuro shrugged. "I don't know, what about you?" She smiled then looked at the clock seeing how late it was.

"I may put on my swimtrunks and go to the pool or
hot tub outside. Care to join me?" He said looking out the window.

Kuro nodded. "Sure, I hadn't seen the swimsuit you got me yet. Is it a two piece or one piece?"

"Why would a guy buy his girlfriend a one piece bathingsuit?", he joked. "It's a two piece.", he told her. He went into the bathroom and changed into his red and black swim trunks.

Kuro sighed and changed into her swimsuit. She looked at the scars on her left leg and right arm. Three deep jagged scars ran down her left leg from midthigh all the way too her ankle. As for the scar on her right arm it was a slash mark that was on her upper arm close to her shoulder. She lightly rubbed the scar on her arm, remembering that each scar was a too close incounter with death.

"Now that's hot.", Drake said and whistled. He took her hands and walked to the pool. There was no one out there, even in the hot tub. He jumped into the pool. He stayed under for a while then came up and shook his head sending a spray of water in every direction.
