So this is an older character of mine that I really loved and wanted to bring some life back to. He comes from a modern US setting where shifters of all species are everywhere, but sort of taboo and they attempt to stay incognito amid the humans. He's originally from Arkansas but that can be pretty open given that he roams a lot. I'd like the rp to stay in the states though.

It'd be nice to start off 1v1, but I wouldn't mind having multiple partners for this if there's interest. Females will have an easier time of getting to know him than males will. Romance is plausible but not a go-to, as this character tends to be pretty unpleasant when first encountered and it takes some time for him to open up to others. I will need either a very plucky and stubborn or a very clingy and curious counterpart to make the rp work, because he'll generally just attempt to leave and not bother with people. As for species, his shift is a cougar, so I'd prefer either a similar or smaller predator, or even a prey animal. But nothing particularly larger like a bear or a tiger.

I'm open to shifting post lengths but I need someone who's gonna post at least 4-5 sentences minimum. I'm also willing to bounce around some plot ideas since I have nothing set for him, so any ideas are welcome.

Ellie can easily be used in a modern setting with a few adjustments if she'll do? She tends to be quite strong willed and stubborn when she sets her mind on something so I think she'll fit well
