Welcome to your first day of highschool, here at Hollow Creek High! You make your way inside, expecting things to be like any other day - dull and uneventful; especially on the first day of school. Except it's only the opposite. People here have magical powers, and weird abilities. As you walk in, you see students casting spells, people chanting forbidden languages, heck, the teachers are riding broomsticks! You wonder as to why your parents had sent you to this school, this mystical place, and why you decided to come here willingly. You wonder if you have anything special about you. Maybe time will tell? 'Oh shut up, Gandalf,' you tell yourself. 'Nothin' special about me.' Nonetheless, you brace yourself for the day ahead of you and find your schedule, hoping not to run into any witches or anything.
Hey, at least now you know the first day won't be boring, right?
Join in whenever you'd like.

'First day of school,' I think, walking into the school.
'Great. Let the misery begin..' I look around and meet the faces of students casting spells and such. I start to question what the actual heck am I doing here, filled in a place like this with creepy witches and broomsticks and ugh. Nonetheless, I go inside and find my schedule.

There was one male who stayed off to himself. His long white hair was tied back loosely and his solid red, glowing eyes scanned the crowed, his furry golden tail swaying slowly. He looked to be an older student, an upperclassmen. His muscular arms were crossed as he leaned against his locker, which looked as if it had sustained some damage.
She was shy. Serah Invosky attended this school for the purpose of study. However, she didn't expect it to be a magical school. With no talents in magic whatsoever, or so to claimed to be, she was surprised and a little creeped out by the amount of magic usage in this school. Shy and a little nervous, she passed the hallways quietly, hugging her books or notebooks tightly. Her hair was long brown and her eyes were blue. She was the typical smarty shy girl.
Lara stepped through the rather ordinary looking doors to the school and froze, staring down the corridor. This...this was not normal. Leaning against a wall she saw a student that seemed to be holding a flame in their hand, licking at their skin yet not causing any pain. A little further on there was another student chanting very strange words whilst tracing their finger over the same words in a large book.
It took her a while to realise she'd been holding her breath. This obviously was not an ordinary school. Of course, this was undoubtedly amazing. This place was magical, literally. She pinched herself, checking that she was definitely 100% conscious, that she was dreaming. She wasn't. But...what was she doing there?
She'd never be able to do any of that stuff! Nevertheless, still in shock, Lara stumbled forwards to collect her schedule.

Pop! Olivia appeared suddenly inside the front doors of the school, stumbling slightly before regaining her balance. How she loved teleportation!
"And I didn't even fall over this time!" She laughed aloud, speaking to nobody in particular. This wasn't her first day at this school but she beamed at the idea of the new students. They were all just so confused! It had been like that for everyone. The school did excellently in hiding it's true nature, even from possible students. Well... at least until you got through the doors. Then you were suddenly exposed to all manner of magic. It was a shock, but a good one in the end.
She rapidly brushed her hair with her fingers and pulled it back into its usual ponytail, it always go into a hideous mess when she teleported anywhere, before glancing around at the new students amusedly.

"EEEEK!" she shouted as she fell backwards from the sudden teleportation. She didn't expect that and fell on her butt. Her things didn't scatter though as she was clutching them quite strongly. "O-ow...." she said as she tried to get up again.
I look down at my phone and back up at the building in front of me and think, 'Is this the school? My father said it was a place where I could use my magic and stuff...' I look around the front of the school confused a little. My toussled white hair blowing in my face and my blue eyes almost glowing in the sunlight. 'It looks...normal...i really hope this is a place for supernaturals'. I walk into the school a little nervous and then I look up and my eyes grow big as I see people on brooms wosh by. "HOLY-!"I gasp out loud as I see a boy handling fire in his hands. "Well Gabe..." I say to myself "looks like you're not going to be the biggest freak after all..."
Olivia grinned apologetically at the girl who'd fallen backwards onto the floor after Liv had made her surprise appearance, presumably out of shock; that reaction wasn't rare.
"Oops," She said cheerfully, offering a hand to help the girl up, "I guess I should have walked into school today. You're probably not used to people appearing from nowhere, I wasn't before I arrived either."
From the way the girl was hugging her books, Liv could guess that she was quite nervous. "Don't worry," She told the girl, consolingly, "You'll get used to it eventually." She chuckled suddenly at the memory of her own first day. "I fell down the stairs when I first arrived because I was too busy watching some boys flying around on brooms. Just watch your footing." Then she remembered her manners and the necessity to find out the name of the new girl she'd toppled over so introduced herself. "I'm Olivia, what about you?"

Elara just about jumped out of her skin when some girl randomly appeared out of nowhere, surprising another so much that she fell over. Then she jumped again as a broom whooshed past and the boy that had just entered yelled in shock. His hair is incredibly pale and he looked like he'd fit in well at this terribly unusual school.
Lara smiled at him, a little weakly; she still hadn't recovered from the shock. "Not quite what was expected, huh?" She asked him softly, "I would never have guessed it was going to be like this when I saw the place. I thought I was going to an ordinary boring school!"

Lupus chuckled softly as he watched from his place against his locker. The new kids always had the best reactions. Some other demonic looking male said something to him in some other language, to which he replied the in the same tongue. Giving a sigh and then a laugh, he slapped the male on the shoulder.
"Better luck next time, old friend."
"Better luck next time, old friend."
"T-thank you" she said as she took her assistance of help. She listened on her advice about the school and nodded in response. "U-um....my name is Serah Invosky. Nice to meet you..." she said quietly, "It's my first day here so I-I'm still getting used to it...." Among her holdings were a few notebooks, a few textbook, and a magic book. By her looks, she was probably the type that bullies might gun in for....or so to say.
"Yeah," Liv agreed, "I could tell by the expression on your face, also I've never seen you before so that's a definite giveaway." Olivia had taken it upon herself to try and remember the name of every single student in the entire school, a rather difficult task but she wasn't doing terribly at it. Forgetting people's names was something she absolutely hated, it was rather awkward when a year in you still hadn't a clue who half these people were.
"You're not alone though." She continued gesturing to the other new students waiting to receive their schedules, "Just look for confused faces, most of them are in the same position as you." It would be the same this time every year, the corridor would be full of terrified looking newbies. It wasn't surprising that they were so concerned, the students whizzing around on broomsticks weren't exactly the most careful of people. She'd almost been knocked out by one at the end of last term when one narrowly missed her head as it whizzed by, teleportation was a much safer option.

After catching my breath I look over at a girl who managed to smile and speak to me during the chaos that was in front of me. I smiled softly and composed myself and stiffly walked over to her. Her green eyes were captivating and her brown hair looked soft. She seemed nice, 'I wonder if she's a witch...maybe she knows magic like me' I thought. "Nope... this place is definitely not what I had in mind, i pictured kids riding on skate boards not brooms." I said giving her a reassuring smile. " I shove my notebooks under one armpit and stick my hand out to shake hers. "Hi, i'm Gabe... Gabe Tiller"
She nodded and listened to their words, "Y-yeah....that is...understandable but still....I just feel a bit different from other people. You see...well I shouldn't say because people will pick on me..." She took a deep breath, "I don't...have magic....as far as I know. So....yeah..." She was nervous, a little more after she said that. Of course it would be fine if nobody picked on her, but protecting her was another different situation. She didn't...feel like to be protected. Though for whatever reason, people who picked on her stopped after awhile. What happened?
It was then that Lupus approached the small group, a wide smile on his pale face. His smile showed his fangs, but not in a threatening manner.
"More nervous new kids I see."
H spoke his his deep smith voice, with a slight hint of an english accent.

He hesitantly entered the entrance of the school a second time, as the first time he'd seen things so shocking it caused him to run outside. Now seeing this wasn't strange by the school's standards due to the reactions of everyone else, Max decided to do as he always did and played along. Although he had moved to a number of places, this by far was the weirdest. People casting spells, one guy shape-shifting, two girls who looked like elves, and Max in the middle of it all yet feeling as though he's the odd one out. Sighing, he began to feel out the crowd like he learned to do, and within minutes he was able to find his locker.
"Elara Terran," She told him, returning his hand shake, "Usually people call me Lara. I'm glad I'm not the only one slightly thrown by all this."
She turned around as an older boy approached, he had white hair too. Lara had never seen so many people with abnormally pale hair in her life. He called them nervous new kids, which pretty much summed them up, and he had... We're those fangs? Elara blinked rapidly and shook her head before turning back to Gave. "Do you think they still teach Biology here?" She asked him, sounding worried, "I mean, all this magic is pretty wonderful looking but... Well, I can do Biology, I've never attempted magic."

Olivia couldn't help but burst out laughing at this nervous admission. It wasn't unkind laughter though, when she was finished she beamed at the new girl. "Oh, don't worry about that. Don't worry at all. Just you wait, you'll see." She told her genuinely, "If you didn't have the capability of magic then you wouldn't be here. The school has its ways of finding magic."
"Ehehe...." she said nervously. So far by consideration of the group, she seemed to be the most normal person in the group. Well, that can't be blame for as a human. She stood there quietly, watching and listening.
